I saw Boston in concert in Syracuse N.Y. in 1978,had 3rd row seats and it was one of the best concerts i have ever been to. RIP Brad, you will be missed.
Thanks You are so right I feel part of me was lost too it was such a privalage to know a star and everyone that saw Brad with Beatle Juice felt that way! The day after he passed the 9 th of March 07, cause what I read it was between 10:30 and 11 the same time John Lennon died and was 8th I feel that is why Brad did at that time. We went sking w friends and had planned to see Beatle Juice that night we heard the news. Just when John died I have never gotten over it!
You always note those people with wonderful distinctive voices. Brad Delp was flat awesome! It is a shame to think that a man like Brad could not see or understand how many lives he made better by his wonderful talent!
I have run out of comments. Just rest in peace Brad and we will keep your music and memories in our hearts. While you rock on in heaven with the other greats.
I think alot of people are down on Scholtz, but alot of it may be hearsay. Maybe I don't know the half of anything about him , or the Boston drama, but I am grateful to the guy for creating perhaps the best rock and roll album of all time. I bumped into the man on Friday at the Beatlejuice tribute to Brad Delp which took place at the Regent in Arlington. I briefly talked with him, shook his hand, and gave him a copy of the dvd. He seemed to appreciate the disc.
I can't imagine what he is going through. To work with someone the time he did and poof. Then to get dissed from the funeral. What a slam. I am sure with Scholz intelligence and talent he probably isn't the easiest person to work with. It is just sad that even after Scholz and Goudreau had reconciled, and Brad had died, there was such bad blood between those who organized the private funeral and Scholz that he wasn't invited. Yah, I blame it on Delp's ex wife.
Amazing how the crowd just sings along. I've never been to a Boston concert unfortunatley and I really wish I had. I was planning to see them in concert this Summer. But with Brad gone... probably won't see them. Thanks for posting this :)
Yes, you are right. I shot this with a casio exilim camera. They are easy to sneak in to shows, but the video quality, especially in low light, is not much better than a cell phone's video. On top of that, Youtube compresses the quality even more. Also, with the Exilim, the anount of video that can be shot is limited to the memory card, so I could not get the whole concert.
i love that song! so i made my own tribute for Brad playing Foreplay, unfortunately i cannot sing at all ... but nobody can sing like Brad anyways! R.I.P
Very true , so very true Brads voice is one of a kind and never to be duplicated. so much range , so much clearity , so much feeling to his music and passion.

I know there are several thousand hours of professionally video and audio not released. I hope they are some day (while I am living)

Yes, I agree 100% I absolutely HATE it when certain entities have unreleased video and keep it locked up away from the fans who really care about it.
