  • And ones your insurance company is in informed, they'll drop you like a bad habit.

Your insurance company will see you as a risk and drop your coverage.

  • I beg to differ that these tests are a waste of time and money. I had a 7 centimeter aneurysm that was detected by Life Line Screening. They saved my life! I am 51 years old and had no warning signs. The osteo test is a risk factor test not a bone density scan. It says if you are at risk not saying you have Osteo. My doctor could not order these tests which cost $900 each because my insurance wouldn't pay for them with no warning signs. Go figure...I would of been dead !

  • These "tests" are a waste of time and money. My wife and I had the standard package of tests done in Colorado in Sept 2008. Neither of us had the optional bone density test done but much to our surprise when we received the results 3 weeks later I was told to contact my doctor because my ostioporisos "test" was abnormal but my wifes was in the normal range. As the test involves measuring the heel and this was not done to me or my wife we question if any of the results were of any value at all.

  • Nicely done Gwen. I'm proud of you.
