  • I love and miss lightroom

  • Wow, great stuff. Didn't know how convenient lightroom is. Will have to try it out.

  • I've never been a fan of Bridge for some reason. Just never got into it... always used Photoshop without it. Love Lightroom though.

  • Thank you Mark, wonderfully clear explanation. Makes you wonder why Adobe don't somehow combine the two and sell it like that? Anyway, the best explanation I've heard so far on the differences between Photoshop and Lightroom.

  • Hi Mark. Thanks for the concise answer to a question I've had in my mind for quite a while. I've seen Lightroom in action, and it has some incredible functions, but I wasn't sure whether I needed to add it to my software as an adjunct to Photoshop. Now I know. Cheers!

  • Hi Mark! Question here:

What is a lens hood for, and why are they shaped differently?

  • Great job Mark!

  • Thanks Mark! Another great video. Looking forward to the next 1 hour photo challenge Friday!!!

  • now this is good stuff...very fun to watch,,, =) keep it up.....

  • Thanks for the clear explanation, Mark!

  • Love this vid, very informative and entertaining !

  • Sorry, but if you edit a photo just w/ camera raw it savethe xmp file aswell, you have to save the psd only if you make change on PS.

I don't like lightroom...PS and Bridge are the best!

  • Wow, I wonder where you guys get those old film footage.

  • @Mydecember1285 From the AMAZING site archive[dot]org. You can use the site to look at old websites, photos, videos, documents, etc. Check it out!

  • aperture and lightroom is pretty much the same thing....

  • @ny1fanta but lightroom is better :P

  • xmp isn't creared by lightroom. ACR created that.

  • Will you be doing an Aperture vs Lightroom video?

  • is that mean, photographer are using lightroom more than photoshop elemant now?

  • i've always wonder about the differences between these two products for the longest time. I've been a long time ps user but know very little about lr. now that i know, it just reconfirm why i dont' need lr. i'm not a pro photographer and i dont shoot much so i don't really see any reason why i would need lr. even if i do shoot tons of images, i'm still not sold on the idea of lr. diskspace are cheap these days and i can still catalog in ps. sorry, i'm not sold on lr if that's all it does.

  • aperture 3 vs lightroom !!!

  • great stuff

  • Another good video Mark.

    Dave Dugdale
