most of the time i see you drive for example in this vid you lift your pivot foot before you dribble and thats a travel right? i do that in practice and my coach always complains about me doing that. Sometimes in games i get travels called on me cause of that too
Great footwork, but you should show footage of you playing against somebody who is really defending you tight enough where you can actually use your jab step. The guy that was sticking you was like 4 feet away and gave you an uncontested jumpshot. He was either fatigued at the end of the game or he did not believe in your jumper at the beginning of the game or he just did not compete because he was not much of a player..... My point is: I want to see footwork against real ball players.
@jimmybailey1974 i have more than 2 vids, so watch more and ur comment is unnecessary. and if u wanna see, you can be the real ballplayer. or if ur not at that level u can go play vs some that are. then you will have real-life experience
now that i think of it . all the NBA scouts that there is at least one has to have seen you and what u can do. the question is wtf are they waitin for to contact you
i saw one of your videos where u said that u sent ur info and stuff to the heat,,if u get on the roster what do u think u can bring to the team as a role player...passing, jumpshooting etc?
Hey Dre, you should go to the NBA D-League try-outs and explode. Once your in the D-League, you will kill every player in that league. From there, you will be seen by a NBA team and hopefully given a contract.
In europe, you must dribble before leaving your pivot foot whereas in the nba, you are allowed to leave your pivot foot as you begin your drive to the hole. It's simple, you just have to be really careful in europe. I always use jabs and fakes like this in the triple threat position, mainly because i'm the driver of my team. This move is very useful when trying to create space or get a defender guessing.
I have a question, I do this move, and in like an official game at my school the refs call travel... does anyone know why? I play in europe by the way
when u r dribbling the ball (not triple threat with a pivot foot) and jab right and u want to go left should i immediately cross my jab (move my right leg over to the left) Or should i jab with my right then move my left foot closer to push off and then cross my right foot over to the left?
thos are my favorite moves, i drop 10 pts a game at McChesney just with the jab step rip to basket, but wut about jab step one way and go the other, i never seen you do that
even though the ball hasn't bounced, it has left his hand when he picks up his pivot foot. It happens so fast anyway, in a game the refs not guna call a travel.
hey dre nice vids just one thing.
