Cav's win just makes me cry. The team was phenomenal as benfrombath says about Wiggo, and I've just found out the Shipping Forecast meaning of "phenomenal" when they describe weather. And it bloody describes Wiggo's turn there. The mean of big waves(efforts) is 40ft. That means that the little ones are 20 and the really big ones are over 60ft. For anyone who lives by the sea, that is massive. Which is suitable to describe Cav.

Brilliant road captaincy from Dave Millar. Read it all right and a big part of the win. Every single man did his bit and then in the end it was all about Cav. As Dave B says - Cav doesn't miss. Happy happy days for British Cycling and Cav knows the history and respects it. What a worthy winner.
