  • This thing is awesome! I want one now, I'm gonna get the sti body I think.. cool video!

  • @Danknugs2011 Thanks

  • would this be a good car for a begginer ?????

  • @akakillerjt no this is the indermidate car for beginers get the e10 drift

  • whats its full speed

  • put fucking rc in the title

  • @sbvikings30 Hpi is the name of the company and sprint 2 drift is the model. Thought that would have been enough

  • @sbvikings30 yeah calm down. the title says enough for you to know ether its a "fucking" rc or not.

  • @TheLionRichard this was rtr and cheap..LOL...my next drift kit will be TB03VDS or TA05VDF

  • @shawnroy81 Hmm I was considering TB03 VDS...Ended up getting the VDF. But...I think you might get more bang for buck with the TC-FD... Unless you are ok with everything stock in the VDF..

  • my roads are a little bumby will this car do ok do you think

  • @nicholas2090 you should have no issues

  • Not bad for your first run :) ..... have you been RC drifting before that time?? or was that totally your very first run?? You would've learnt a lot about RC drifting by now, sooo have you CS'd your HPI yet?? lol ..... I'm in the process of CSing my Yokomo. I got the gears installed and am now working on the steering and suspension mods :) ...... Keep Sliding mate :)

  • @DriftKingToBe I had tried with my TT-01D but with not much success. This kit made it much easier. I haven't started the countersteer mods yet. Been very busy with my rock crawwler

  • yes... dude.. you just helped me decide with your great vid, that i am going to get the hpi..

    was thinking about TT01D..

and thanks alot for not putting music in it :)

  • Where do you get those gas cars!?

  • @mrcrcodilecoonass any hobbyshop or online

  • so... i thought this was a real car lol

  • @15stepz i get that alot

  • how did you make it white?

  • whered you get it

  • Where can I buy one of these?

  • @Fariascesar1 any hobbyshop or online

  • how do you get your motor to sound like that i have a audi r8 drift car and its faster but it doesnt sound like that

  • @dface2200 I didn't do anything. Its a brushed motor with a belt driven drive-train. Sounded like that out of the Box

  • good driving I want to get a car but I want my first car to be fast what car do you recommend? and what motor esc setup would be best for it? and what is the best motor to put on my blitz? I currently run a castle sidewinder sct with the Element by castle esc

  • @FlatwoodsDairyLLC I like the traxxas rally VXL. Tuff fast and waterproof. I have lots of videos on my channel with it. Even some radar runs. That's what I would suggest, The castle setup you have is good. I'm running A VXL-3s system in my short course.

  • The newer sprint 2 doesn't have that belt problem. Those two pieces don't exist in that model anymore. The model before that required cutting to shoot the pebbles free.

  • @pumjoon1 I was sure I read that somewhere. Thanks

  • will the water not fuck it up?

  • @beanoTV97 Nop. This specific model is waterproof. I wouldn't dunk it in a pool but other than that you should be fine

  • Is that a different body or did you take the stickers off? It look's so much better without them IMHO.

  • @F8L94GTS Yep. Never ran it with them on. Pulled them off and used stick away spray for all the left over residue.

  • can you tell me how to bond and program the car when i take it out of the box i cant even steer the car it just doesnt work . it would be very helpfull. thank you.!i just got it for christmas!!!

  • @Roboatic00 Look for the bind button on the back of the TX, Hold it in with a pen then turn it on and it should flash...then hold the button on the rx and turn it on untill it beeps...

  • u shouldnt be driving outside with belt drive cars

  • @AlexJonAir I have been doing it for ever and no issues yet. Unfortunately i don't have the luxury of being able to drift inside. but i hear what your saying

  • @shawnroy81 ok then, but u should still watch out for rocks and diffrent stuff that can get into the belt and wreck it.

  • @AlexJonAir will do

  • is that brushed or brushless?

  • @rolgarcia1 i kept it brushed for now

  • Damn , Sounds just like my actual size 350Z.

  • @Nuzoh nice

  • The lIght under the car is that coming from the motor?

  • @dropdeadcoby no from the speed controller.

  • awsome ride bro.. im startin a Lexus is200 for drift now

  • @vakill26motta thanks. your ride sounds sick too.

  • the motor is that far behind because it gives more power to the rear wheels right ? and also it has more response to the back too ?

  • @kiddrockkyoya2001 it does give it more traction on the rear wheels but actually it would be better upfront for drifting..Pro Kits usually have a weight forward bias for better transitions and deeper angles in the drift. Like Tamiya's TA05-VDF Drift

  • @shawnroy81 oh i see

  • was expecting the real thing but I love this video... hahahaha...

  • @adipsplayer LOL...Thanks

  • wait does this drift right out of the box?

  • @iloveknex This is the drift version but yes. It has hard compound tires and lots of adjustments available which is required for drifting.

  • Comment removed

  • @chiko691 its 259$

  • how did you take off the decals?

  • @GrantCucio I pulled most of them off and for the sticky residue my girl has spray on glue remover for her crafts.

  • i just bought the same one but with stuff ontthe shell

  • @iLOVEkane88 I had all the stickers but I took them off cause I wanted a clean look

  • ok ive been doing a bit of research on my first drift car and i am torn between a tt01 and this hpi sprint 2. everyone says these sprint 2's are crap and break alot now but then others say the same about the tt01 any feedback?

  • @iloveknex i have 6 tamiya tt-01s. they are a really great car for drifting. the only thing ive had to replace is the spur gear and pinion gear because they wear out from drifting hard (and replace wheels of course). if you replace 1 gear you should replace both because they will mesh better and last longer. out of the 6 cars i have i only use 1 and ive been drifting it for 3 years now

  • @Bongwater123 ye i ended up with the sprint 2. ive had it for a week and put on drift tires. i have no problems at all yet.the tires havent even started to wear one bit and i drive it many times a day.

  • is it possible to upgrade to brushless? if so what system and motor would you recomend. Nice vid!

  • @Roboatic00 yes you can upgrade to brushless. For recommendations it all depends how much you want to spend. On the cheap side I would get a hobbywing motor and esc combo with the programer if not then LRP has a drifters combo. When it comes to brushless I have never had anything stand out in super good or super bad. Your options are all open.

  • ive heard ... curiously enough that the E10 is in fact better... because of there Drive Shaft... and that the Belt on the Sprint 2 Drift Easily comes off when running outside ?!.... the Sprint 2 Drift by the videos and pictures looks far more mecanicaly advance with alot more Adjustement and Mod available to do... what do you think of yours ?!... 'caus in in the process of buying myself an RC Drifter :P Thanks

    Sam

  • @Vicsam7 I prefer the belt driven car...I also have a TT-01witch is shaft driven and I find the sprint 2 is much easier to drift. The belt drive are much easier to counter steer which is the best mod you can do for a drifter. They also have a counter steer kit for the TT-01 but again hard to maintain and harder to come by the parts.

  • @shawnroy81 Ok thanks alot for the Input ! ;) im gonna get an HPi Sprint 2 Drift ;D

  • @Vicsam7 You'll be happy. I'm sure

  • @Vicsam7 For the outside issues i could see you having issues with belt wear but only under extrem situation(tones of rocks). Never had issues with mine and my drift conditions aren't the best as you can see by my other videos.

  • were do you get one and for how much

  • @MrModzEverything I bought mine @ hobbyhobby and it was 249.99$ CAD

  • @shawnroy81 Ouh . Thanks anyway . What you have said is true :) .

  • Did it come with and HPI drift box ?

  • @AthyrSheytan No it did not and if it did I would take it out. The D-Box doesn't help you in the long run. Better to learn without

  • how much psi, how long until the batteries run out

  • @XxJxDEEZYxX The stock batery(2000mah) last about 10 mins. It all depends the capacity of the battery your running. I have a 5000mah and that will give me close to 30mins depending on how aggressive I drive. For the PSI (Pounds per square inch )not sure what your referring too. The tires are hard plastic compound

  • @shawnroy81 one thing i would like to know... your 5000mah gives you 30mins of Ride but how long til it Completly Charged !? thanks and great vid ;P

  • @Vicsam7 I charge it @ 4amp. Its fully charged in 1:20. I use the duratrax onyx 230

  • sounds like it gots a small supercharger

  • @pedropistolas18 Wouldn't that be nice.

  • were did u buy it and how much did it cost

  • @789mauricio123 I got this @ BigBoys wit cool toys in Mississauga.Ontario 259$CAD

  • did you counter steered it yet?

  • @GoldSprinter Not yet...I have all the parts sitting in an bag. To many projects. I hope to get on that soon.

  • hey can u list a few drift cars u have im looking for one for my cuz

  • @fiestormable I have the Tamiya TT-01D and HPI Sprint 2 Drift

  • @shawnroy81 ARE THEY ELECTRIC OR NITRO OR GASOLINE?

  • @fiestormable They are electric. I would s suggest electric over nitro for drifting,

  • brushless ????????????????/

  • @pobgeeboy No not yet....I was planing to do it but so far its very smooth with the brushless

  • Where can I buy one of those r/c cars? That's awsome!!!

  • @nnismo03 your local hobby shop or ebay. they area ruffly 269CAD

  • Can this thing go straight??

  • @grpanos13 If I put grip tires on it yes. I'm running hard compound tires for the drifting specifically.

  • @shawnroy81 Cool as hell :)

  • how much did this cost

  • @XpertTheif 269cad

  • Very smooth. I think this vid made my mind up between the TT-01 and the Sprint 2. Thanks

  • @Brraaaappify Glad I could help. I have posted alot of footage on both these cars....my latest would be my drift chase camera...

  • 1:35 SCRAAAPPE! hahah

  • Awesome.

  • @TRXSlashFreak Thanks

  • nice drifing lol

  • @immaninja128 thanks

  • great video mate, do you think this hpi car is better than your tt01d?

  • @cossieboy2007 @cossieboy2007 I much prefer it so far. It's very smooth compared to my TT-01D. I'm thinking that's the difference between shaft and belt driven. I had originally choose the TT-01D specifically cause its shaft driven. I'm not privileged like most to have nice and clean drifting areas. I usually try and find something semi clean and deserted. You would be surprised the amount of parking lots I have been asked to leave from. Here in Brampton Ontario

  • @spyrospitzer139 for sure...will do

  • @spyrospitzer139 I prefer the all white look until I can complete my custom decal. My girl has a cricut and can cut all my decals. Should have that completed soon

  • Cool any chance we will see anything on the Nitro speeder

  • @MXRac3r545 I'm trying to fit it in tonight...Before the weekend is done for sure
