I clicked not expecting much, but it's actually quite remarkable. Extremely faithful, and while you don't get the sharpness of TH or the contributions of Nona Hendryx or Adrian Belew, it still kicks ass. Go Phish.

I like both versions; I don't see why everyone needs to go bash the other band because it doesn't sound exactly like their favorite band. I mean, I'm more of a Heads fan but wandered in here to see another rendition of a good song and I like it!

This is my favourite Heads track, I only wanted to see what another band would do with it. Obviously Phish are big Heads fans, too - they've made it really faithful to the gorgeous original, and kudos to them. Well done, I sez! The only thing missing was the amazing guitar solos by Adrian Belew and Eno's sonic magic. A-

@lippyduck Every year that phish plays a halloween show, they cover an album. in 1996 they picked Remain in the Light. So this is a big deal to phish fans.

@lippyduck It's a Halloween show. Every year that they've toured since 1994, they've kept up the theme of playing 3 sets each Oct. 31, with the middle set always covering an entire album. Sort of a "musical costume" if you will. In '94, it was "The White Album". In '95, it was The Who's "Quadrophenia". In '96 they played this.
