It uses the ABS to combat oversteer or understeer. E.g. in a sharp right turn, it would reduce the speed of the inside front wheel to prevent understeer, or, in the case of pending oversteer, the ESC system would apply the majority of the braking power to the rear wheel causing loss of traction of the rear axle. This is very useful for sudden changes in road conditions, where the driver may not be able to slow down before the car goes over the certain surface.
You are wrong in both cases. The test showed this car along with the matrix had the BEST crash results for both front and side impact. Least damage to the occupants.
I love the view at 1:23. It's like, "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!" BOOM.

The driver's head came out, can it happen in real world?
I don't mind testing it but I might not be able to write the review after that.

hey what is ESC??
ViperVenomSRT10 2 years ago
ESC is Electronic Stability Control.
ESC, helps you manuever your vechicle more so in a straighter line when begining to swerve. The purpose is to keep the car from doing a 360'.
Real life example: My PT Cruiser does not have ESC. I lost control without ESC.
The car fishtailed and span all the way around. If it had ESC I could have kept it on the road much better.
