You've really captured the quintessential view points and natural wonders that make Pacific City an outstanding Oregon Coast location. We will feature this video on our Pacific City webpage.
aaahhhh oregon, gods country amazing scenery rivers forests and last bastian of the white man where its only state not completely yet ruined my mexis. poor california is now northern mexico except in mexico white people arent allowed legally buy property in mexico ( yet we give them our fucking country) but other then the whites being allowed do things like start a business own a fishing boat or house its exactly same pretty much now lol poor california. go oregon!
I'm thinking about remixing this with a different soundtrack and full attribution with links to you posted underneath, would that be cool with you? Awesome video by the way - thank you. I am planning on moving north and possibly on the coast, this only encourages me more.
I am from Coos Bay Oregon and now living in Nashville Tennessee. I miss the ocean so much. I miss Oregon! Now you need to travel to Shore Acres in Coos Bay/North Bend and get some really awesome film there too!
I am from and live in Tennessee. I have been to the Oregon coast and many other places in the Northwest. To me it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and the people there are some of the nicest I've ever met. Lucky you if you live there! Magnificent!
I ,my self, am from Oregon and i never realized how beautiful it was till this video and i am so sad the first time i watched this i move to Colorado.
@JKBonnie i been to oregon portland and the peopel were horrrible.......even utah was better then portland and they hate homless people in portland,,,dotn ever go to portland
I LOVE the driving along the beach shot. how did you get it so smooth? I LOVE the wide angle shots. I LOVE the colors. Nice post processing. I also LOVE the timelapse stuff. How did you do that? Just long clips sped up in post? I can only take a max of 12 minute clips on my t2i. Excellent job. Motivates me to get a wide angle and start shooting some coastal scenery.
I should also inform others that plan to visit here; you cannot legally go to many locations where these videos were filmed. I'm sure the vidiographer will concur with me. They are high dangerous cliffs with exteme warning signs as may have fallen too their death where these images were taken. Do plan though to get hold of professionals in the area as you can go to the Devils Punch Bowl at the ground level when there is extreme low tide. Search images for Cape Kiwanda and see this location.
Very nicely done with a Cannon 5D MkII, but as a long standing native to the Portland Oregon region, (and I have photographed Cape Kiwanda many times) I would pull the electronica commercial sirens guitar version of the Pachelbel Cannon in D Major and use some placid real classical version or not so much the pop rock sound that overweighs the video and takes away from it. I’ll look forward to seeing your other Oregon Coast videos. I just bought a Sony NEX 5 1080p to do similar. Mark Seibold
Very well done! Beautiful.
