Very nice, I prefer the longbow for its artistic value, longer range and higher rate of fire, but crossbow is cool, easier to learn and took less physical strength, plus had good chainmail and light armor penetration at shorter ranges, both could be argued as more accurate, longbow with no mechanical inaccuracies and instictive style good for moving targets, but crossbow can be held up a long time to aim because its mechanical, both good weapons. Also no need to be rude to Americans, good day :)

@BrightAkatsuki No its the main reason many people choose them over the bow then, less skill needed than longbow and required less strength, though longbow had high rate of shot about 6-bolts/10-arrows, and due to crossbow design less energy carried so longbow had longer range unless the crossbow tripled its draw weight, but then it took a crank to use meaning slower rate 1-bolt/7-arrows, crossbow was great for defending castles and siege though, longbow for forest, fields and street fights.

that crossbow is a fucking peice of shit .. i bought that crossbow from a med faire for $225 , i got to shoot it bout 6 times before the nut wore out and the tickler wouldnt hold the dam nut in place when you try to load it. its built all for show and now functionality.. i dont know what you did to yours but mine has nvr worked right with the rolling nut , i had to completly change the trigger over just to get it to fire and its not very impresive. im happier with the crossbow i made myself..

for a start Its modified to have hard steel insert into nut , I guess mine has fired 200 shots at least and is showing no signs of wear whatsoever .
