  • Think you did good

  • Static line course is "safer" for both u and The instructor. Think i did good.

  • nice job getting stable after the flail

  • I don't get why you failed? You got stable perfectly! That is the point. I just finished my AFF-course, and I didn't do everything perfectly, but I always managed to stay stable or get myself stable (I ended up on my back once, but got stable right away, and I passed).

  • Nice job on the 2nd jump! It looks like you are just a little flat. I think with a good deep arch and controlling your shoulders, you would have had it the 1st time. I was lucky...I made it through AFF without any redo's. Since my AFFI's were able to teach me how to survive skydiving, I am now learning how to skydive. Are you still jumping? If so you are probably flying like a champion...Blue Skies!!!

  • Willing to bet you had a couple if line twists on that second attempt. ;-)

  • @jamester28

LOL! Yes, as a matter of fact I did. Too bad that wasn't on video -- but I snapped out of it pretty fast.

  • blame dead air :)

  • when i tryed to do skydiving i shit me self in mid fall then puked when i landed

  • Legs,,,,,,,,,,, =) I am sure u got that under control. Cool stuff..Perris is sweet jumped there a couple times.

  • Is it the camera or you can actually see the Earth's curve in the horizon?

  • when doing this , if your a fat guy then it wont feel good if you sky dive but if your a skinny guy you can fly ,

  • I agree with the fact that you were unstable, but when you say it was a failed attempt you were wrong......your still alive and thats all that matters each jump. Keep it up!!!!

  • You still pulled it off! Second jump looked real steady until pull time. Did you have any line twists on opening? Getting that other arm WAY out in front while keeping the rest of your body flat is the key. Congrats man...you're almost there.

  • who was your JM?

  • I disagree. You got stable right after you ended up on your back and made a great save of the jump. That's the point GET STABLE & you did. That's why I recommend tunnel time..at least 20 minutes..10 min on day 1 using the tunnel for 2min at a time so you can rest. Then 10 min the next day at 2 min intervals..THEN start your AFF's...you'll pass 'em all without any re-dos. Your redoing your AFF 5 cost you $225.00 did you fail any other of your AFF's?

BTW, nice job on your second attempt.!!

  • Thanks for the vote of confidence. It really helps to have feedback from experienced skydivers. You're absolutely right about tunnel time - but I only did 10 minutes (2 min intervals) and didn't get enough rest before I jumped (I'm not a spring chicken anymore :)) Luckily, I got "Tunnel Insurance" - pay $235 for 10 mins of tunnel time and if you don't pass your next level - the 2nd attempt is free.

  • Doing my final L8 this week. So far (knock on wood) this is the only level I had to repeat - but I'm not sure if I deserved a pass on L7 - it got ugly at the end when I tried to track..

BTW - how many jumps do you have??
