Being able to see shelves of games in all the video stores goin to target, walmart or k mart and perusing all the new releases, debating with the clerks on which games are duds and which are worth a play. Videogames were so much cooler back then. Nintendo hit the main stream in a way no other system really has. Everybody had a nes and knew they were cool. Girls, Boys didn't matter.
