Nice capo slide! I actually thought it was even more natural sounding than sungha's or southwind's... haha

Even though you're not "technically" as good as them, your perception of music is very good (ups and downs... speed ups, all pretty adequate). Kinda proves that you don't have to be the "technically" perfect to make your guitar's sound touch other people's souls...

Hi Rybal:

I recommend a book by Guitar Player columnist Arnie Berle called, "Beginning Fingerstyle Blues Guitar." It is very well thought out, starting with very simple exercises and then gradually moving into more advanced techniques. It comes with a cd that not only demonstrates how the music should sound, but tracks you can play along with.

Otherwise, the main things to tell her is to keep both hands relaxed, take it slow and perfect practice makes perfect playing. Cheers.
