Because I've been trying to host a game on the net for some friends of mine and I, and we can't see to connect to each other's games.

Yeah spot on. I've disable the firewall on my ADSL modem so all traffic goes straight to my router. Then on my router, I've opened up ports 10480 through 10483 to both TCP and UDP packets. Then I've ensured Windows Service Pack 2 is letting SWAT 4 have access, and specifically opened ports 10480-3 on the Windows firewall. Still doesn't work.

With the SSF Mod you can play with 10 men in coop. standrd is 5 i think because an element has 5 members...

Would love to play this with you guys when I get my new system, I work in law enforcement actually in Toronto. Old system just cant run it. Should have a new system in a month. Remember, be decisive with your actions, always pick up weapons beside suspects and victims. Game has a dynamic enviornment, same person last game might pick up the gun they didn't last time. One man should always provide cover when suspects are being cuffed.
