  • @Theunderdogma God Your So negative and angry Man - -take a chill pill - Im just glad Im not taking advice from your "very good financial advisor background" No need to be soooo insulting man if you were less insulting - People mite talk nicer to you :) from the comments here it looks like on average the majority of folks are been realistic using common sense and are pro china and anti your negativity and cynical thinking -- relax man & Have some Manners that way I wont say "Shut up to you"

  • @josephmro I dont need pills, I sleep well. I am cool. I don't fool people'either. I have been able to profit and provide returns above average. No need to invest in 'magic places'. It is easy to make money fooling people. Just this, I m not negative, I m protective. GDP growth and returns - especially on equities - are as far as North and South Poles. China is growing, so are the other "Brics". But transparency is eesential to provide visibility and China has none. A big shot in the dark.

  • congratulations to freedom loving chinese people for the disident liu Xiaobo's nobel peace prize. One day China and Tibet will be free from the evil of totalitarianism, maybe not in the next 11 months or the next 11 years, but slavery and injustice cannot last forever.

  • America, get used to it, you have ALREADY had your day in the sun. - Historically, Empires come and go, yours (probably the 2nd half of Queen Victoria's Empire, really), has had a fair innings. You will not turn back the tide, King Kannute ! - Now it's somebody else's turn, to have THEIR day in the sun. - The BRIC will have it's day. -
  • He says the US stockmarket tanked in 29 and then the US became a superpower. YEah - but that came off the back of emerging WW2 unscathed when Europe and Japan were pulverized - not because the stock market crash set them up!

  • SORRY

That comment was for here: /watch?v=ZRBYRLBLNLI

  • Peter is dead on balls correct about air traffic in china. it will indeed substantially contract in the US and already now, China is paying foreigners well to pilot their planes. He understands the gameboard well.

  • They can't that's why they have to rely on domestic which will be way US lead demand.

  • if the US becomes poor, in a way of speaking, what will happen to the rest of the world who are absolutely poorer than the US right now and who will be able to buy the goods and products of those chinese companies Mr. rogers is strongly espousing? or is this too simplistic?

  • Then there's the PRC economy, it will tank in 09.There's no way the China consumer is going to prop up internal GDP as PRC's export market dies. I mean the in Japan where they have a stable social infrastructure , they didn't spend for 20 years despite 0% rates. What chance the ordinary Chinese will spend in a high insecure unstable society? none.

China GDP 09 = max 5% , mark my words.

The only thing I agree is commodities , from these levels look good especially oil.

  • Nice to see you on YT, Jim.I respect you on most things but as a non commie Chinese must disagree on your over enthusiastic view on PRC and Singapore.

1st morally, let's not forget the Real Ming KMT Chinese who now reside in Taiwan,HK and Malaysia. We still walk the talk and follow religiously a taoist confucian lifestyle not this cultureless Wall st yuppie wannabe crap like the PRC.

They killed 1 million Chinese for being " educated ". You wouldn't have last 2 seconds there friend.

  • @KLguy133 china is the best country to survive recession.

  • @jayangli The only people who go to China go there to rape it and the govt is allowing it.

  • @KLguy133 China GDP 09 = 9.1%. Any more estimates?

  • There are still many hungry people in China. They haven't even fixed the earthquake damage yet.

  • ur lying...I a Chinese whose hometown is Sichuan province (Szechuan), the EQ really hit us...but recovery is very quick with the huge finacial support from our government..If 5.12 EQ striked another country not China, I guess the result could be worse...robbery, strife, disease spreading, and so on...U must know that, the strike of 5.12 EQ upon China just like the strike of 10 megaton nuclear bomb...only China can recover so quickly from sufferring such kind of disaster, and later hold olympic

  • Have you heard the term "tofu-dreg schoolhouses"? This is a term that the Chinese use to describe the poor quality of the classrooms that the children are taught in and that crumbled when the quake hit. That is also why there were so many killed in a quake that Japan would have barely noticed, as their building quality is of a much higher standard than China's. China will have to spend many trillions of dollars to make sure that so many innocent children don't die next time.
