I like this more then CoD because this is more realistic with real injuries.. I mean if you get hit in your arm or leg her you will die if you don't treat the wound, the more you bleed the more dishy you become, and unsteady with the aim.. really good game... here COD fails =( but BF3 and COD are awesome in multiplayer =D

CWC = Cold war crisis. The first OFP was called Operation Flashpoint: Cold war crisis. Its not developed by Codemasters though. Its developed by bohemia interactive, so really arma is the real sequel to operation flashpoint.

I can run it decently on my laptop, I just put the post-proces stuff off.

Arma Free is Arma 2, but not the highest level of detail available, no mods possible and no singleplayer campaign, all other stuf is playable. (if you have arma 2, you can play with arma free players on the same servers)

This game looks sweet. I was a BIG fan of Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm on Playstation 2, but not the latter games on Playstation 3 due to how much like Call of Duty they were becoming with the straight routes and not much thinking or team work. Is this anything like the first few Ghost Recon games? If it is, I'll definitely get it, the only bad thing I can see about it is that it's only one person offline.

I bought this game recently, despite the negative reviews and generally poor reception. First I would like to make one thing clear. Codemaster's DESTROYED the Operation Flashpoint name. However, I have foud this game to be more than ennjoyable. It fills that gap between a simulation like ArmA and an action game like COD. My major complaints are the BAD AI, the lack of editing tools, and the fact that it is still a little arcady for me. Otherwise, it's not nearly as bad as the reviews say.

This game looks pretty solid and I'll definitely buy it when the price comes down, but one thing that really irks me is that RPG. That things really needs an overhaul. The explosion and firing graphics are horrendous and look more like an artillery round or bomb just hit, not a grenade on a stick.

The Graphics on this game look very nice. Only down-side is the player reminds me of the Rebecca Black version of a bad gamer.

Its people like this who play video games, don't understand the amount of work that was put INTO making the game itself, then complain that the AI on his team don't do anything. You run in, G.I. Joe, and tell your team to wait behind a bush.. its a Tactical shooter DOOD. :\

It's just a watered down tactical shooter that requires no tactics at all and has no resemblence to Operation Flashpoint at all. It's develeloped by a greedy Team, lead by Sion Lenton, that systematically lied to people about Dragon Rising, dropped their support for the game and just never listen to their fans.

Sion Lenton should go back and work on his Burger King games and let people with actual knowledge develop any OFP game.
