Really like the bassline,as you said it kicks ass . The snare is punchy as it must be , but (I can't explain in english why, I'm talking french actually ) try to compress it more, to make it "SLASH!" some more ! but it's very small detail , maybe just ears problem from myself :P The rest is purely amasing,keep up the good work , peace !

this is really good mate, ive been trying to get that dark sounding spor like sound for ages, any tips? ;) i produce dubstep usually.. check out my vids if you have the chance. great great song though!

The reeses are not so easy to explain, but in this track I used a simple detuned-saw reeses with distortion, similar to loki's tutorial reese, and some of them are filtered through a low-pass and some through a band-pass. The differences between them, otherwise, is that one Malström is playing analog saw waves, and another is playing detuned. The "analog" synth sounds more raw, and the detuned sounds a little smoother. I think you should be able to experiment with those pointers :)

I don't remember. I think they're from the Vengeance Essential House Samples CD, but I messed up with the processing. The EQ on the snares is way too High-End emphazised etc. But the Reason 4 factory soundbank has some nice samples in it too :)
