I think I was there when this was being filmed. It was in downtown L.A., September of last year. I was wandering around when I saw a crowd watching this scene being filmed. One of the interns or whatever said the movie was called "E-7" but I could see that their shirts said "Transformers July 2007". That guy was kind of a jerk, too, he kept trying to get everyone to move and kept saying, "Grande Explosion!" in a horrible Anglo accent (the neighbourhood is mostly Mexican).
