  • Oh my god I hate fox news when it comes to sensationalizing ron pauls positions. they always say, ron paul wants to legalize all drugs. no fox news you morons, he wants to leave it to the states to decide. does that mean once ron paul gets elected the states will right away legalize heroin? of course not, that's just ridiculous and not even worthy of entertaining..

  • Shepard Smith is a moron. Always has been. He makes some funny comments once in a while, but that's about it. He's also a very convoluted person. He's against torture, but he's all for the drug wars. Go figure. He's confused . Any doubt, check his closet.lol

  • RON Paul 2012

    RAND Paul 2016

  • Props to Rand for not punching that douche in the face for asking the same question over and over again.

  • What an absolute asshole. Props to Rand for keeping his cool.

  • way to keep ur ground

    !

  • It's not really hard to understand dude. THE STATES WOULD MAKE THE LAWS. No state would openly legalize cocaine and heroin. It would be put up for a vote and it would be voted down. ON THE STATE LEVEL. That's how it should work. Fucking brainless pundits.

  • Yes, it was a simple question that was answered with a FUKN simple answer. Geezus, that guy just wanted to imply Ron would legalize ALL drugs without any prohibits.

Btw, how many times did Rand paul say "State"?

  • Looks like someone needs to remind Shepard Smith that we live in the United STATES of America...

  • I just lost all my respect for Shepard Smith. I thought he was different than the rest of the hack jobs at Fox but I guess I was wrong.

  • wow you could tell from beginning this guy was out to make Ron Paul look bad "but the generals don't wanna leave" wtf? okay well them let the GENERALS stay there while we take our troops dumbfuck. since when do generals run the world.

  • i think it should be left up to the state whether or not we can kick this interviewers teeth in

  • THE ARABS ARE WINNING WE ARE BROKE OUR MILITARY IS WEAK WE HAVE THE NATIONAL GUARD AND THE COAST GUARD FIGHTING THESE WARS....LOOK IT UP...PLEASE...WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DEFEND ISRAEL AT OUR CURRENT STATUS...LETS ALL GET A BRAIN AND GET BEHIND A MAN THAT KNOWS HOW IT WORKS...PLEASE...

  • Lol what a fucking hack. Just trying to get a sound-bite.

  • I'll bet you that over the counter cocaine and heroin wouldn't kill as many people as alcohol and cigarettes.

And then there is marijuana; a drug that has never killed anyone in the history of the World! An absolute travesty to mankind that marijuana is illegal - so many of the World's problems would be solved by simply legalizing the great herb.

Legalize all drugs! Drugs should be as legal as water. It's a personal choice. I don't need anyone to tell me what to do with my life!

  • Why not sell heroin and cocaine over the counter? People who want it bad enough now get in anyway. At least that way they would know they are getting pure shit and not poison, that would decrease poisoning overdose deaths. Oh but I forgot; the criminal government ships the illegal drugs in - in mass quantities and then perpetuates the "war on drugs" as a means of bringing in the police state. Silly me, keep guarding those Aghan poppy fields boys, ho-rah!

  • What a COMPLETE DUMB AZZ Announcer!!

Is that enough CLARITY for you! What school of journalism did that whatever go to?

  • Is this supposed to be an interview? Pathetic Shep! Fair and balanced, give me a break. You are no better than CNN.

  • Shep is taking it all personally. Rand is just trying to tell him Paul's positions. Kind of funny to watch, actually. Too bad our pundits have to be so stupid.

  • Name one state where the sale of heroin and cocaine is legal, jackass

  • @imatruthaddict Cocaine is a legal drug but with a prescription. Heroin is not yet many other opiates are that are basically the same are.

  • @916CPM many other opiates that are basically the same are legal with a prescription* Sorry for the poor grammar I am trying to do 10 things at once.

  • @916CPM I can understand what you are saying but my point is that States have a system to deal with all of this...and if a State wants to allow the LEGAL sale of drugs, that is their CHOICE....NOT the choice of some Federal Bureaucrat that wants to control every aspect of American life.

Unless there is a dispute between states or between a state and a foreign entity, I don't think the Federal Government should be involved AT ALL. I see the Feds as the Moderator General basically.

  • He keeps coming back to "cocaine and heroin over the counter" with a one track mind after being corrected repeatedly. I guess we know the official Fox line for that day... Wow. You just don't see one-sided attacks like that on real news channels.

  • The interviewer is a bias idiot. To put it simply and factually. The sad part is, most people watching the video will fall into the interviewers trap and will just throw away common sense. Anyone that thinks states are going to legalize cocaine, heroine and other VERY OBVIOUSLY dangerous drugs are fucking retarded. Literally mentally ill.

  • Rand did well against that A hole

  • I hope this guy s getting paid to be a due shebang

  • If, god forgive, Ron Paul doesn't win this election can anyone say Rand Paul 2016?

  • ass hole

  • This is a great guy, Rand.

  • In 1902 the FDA was established when there were no drug laws. Their 1st order of business was to require ALL companies who made anything for consumption to have all the ingredients listed on the label. Left up to the individual, drug use in America drop by 95% almost overnight. When the Fed Gov stepped in and started making drug laws, drug use was back up by a 1000% almost overnight. That's the result of the government running anything.

  • Fuck that dickhead interviewer way to waste half the interview tryna slander Paul

  • Way to go Rand Paul! If Ron Paul doesn't become President, Rand Paul surely will.

  • Is it wrong to want to punch this guys ugly face in for trying to publicly smear an honest man?

  • Honestly lost some respect for Shepherd Smith on that one. He was one of the few Fox News guys who I thought had no bias.

  • Isn't this the same reporter that accidentally said blow job? lol

    /watch?v=x0j5reA7PWw

  • @oOo0Chase0oOo Maybe he was just saying what he was thinking. Reminds me of a secretary at Liberty Toyota who used to be a secretary for a tomato packing plant. As we were talking about it she accidentally answered the phone "Good morning...Liberty Tomato". I still laugh about that. BTW...she liked her job at the tomato plant too...LOL

  • @amzuel420 haha

  • I'm glad that Rand knows how to handle the media! I feel like he presents a lot better than Ron- he doesn't stutter or anything.

  • Rand looks, and sounds just like his father. Same characteristics, same charisma, a younger clone. Don't worry people. If Ron Paul dies before his time, his son will inherit his support from the masses.

  • That reporter was annoying... The guy obviously was asking a personal question on the job...

  • You raised him right Ron!

  • Rand is kicking it though! :D Ron Paul 2012 (Rand Paul 2016!)

  • @ZyClave I 2nd this motion! But let us not forget.. In 2009, OBAMA over wrote the 22nd amendment which limits office to 8-years. Obama has billions of dollars to buy votes. Don't listen to the media listen to Paul himself speak. Follow Paul's Instructions! If Paul says vote. We vote!!

  • @ZyClave Ron Paul 2012, Ron Paul 2016, Rand Paul 2020

  • @LighterOfDewbies Hehe, yea i guess so ^^

  • @ZyClave I think you mean Rand Paul 2020, as Ron Paul will be running for re-election in 2016.

  • Wow! Some journalists sure are disguisting people ...

  • Comment removed

  • Rand is a boss.

  • Isnt it a well know fact that the biggest crime is that interviewer still has yet to come out of the closet?

  • 4:18, 4:35, 4:55, 5:34, 6:09, 6:30 he asks the same question 6 times and at 6:20 he wants clarity, but its like he just answered the question 5 times how much more clarity do you want

  • Great job rand, and pick face gets it and he knows what you mean by but he wants to put words in your mouth and you shut him down wonderfully,,,,, I hat prestitutes!!!!

  • spam every website on the internet with 'what do you think of the NDAA signed by obama?' make someone google. do your part.

we need to take our internet back. vote up.

  • I love how Rand Paul handled the interviewer whose main purpose seemed to be to get a devastating sound bite that could be used against Rand`s father. The last thing that interviewer wanted was the oft misinformed FOX viewer to start to think. Rand Paul is so sharp, centered, and does not give in. If the governments right to take a life for a committed crime can be determined at a state level then why not let the state decide on what drugs are to be illegal. Brilliant;I haven't heard that 1 b4.

  • @bobfrombcII such a great point about the purpose being to obtain a sound bite. Rand was certainly sharp to keep repeating what he said instead of simply saying yes and then qualifying his statement. The next day all we would have heard is the yes. .

  • So i think what he's trying to say is that Ron Paul would make a law at the federal level that we all have to do cocaine

  • The states will make the laws, how hard is that? Come on Shep, pull your head out of your ass.

  • Kudos to Rand. I would lose my shit with an annoying ass like that. I want to punch him. Gah, I'm all punchy now.

  • He asked the same question about 10 times! He knew what he was trying to say, he was just trying to prod for a damaging response.

  • Wow, I though Shep was the kind of guy who didn't play politics via the interviewer role, trying to get a damaging statement from the interviewee. I still like him in general, because he is the best Fox has to offer, but my goodness, how many times can you ask the same question?

  • i hope he decriminalizes pot! if hes elected that is...

  • The interviewer had clearly been told to get a "Yes" an the cocaine/heroin question so that Fox could run an alarmist headline tomorrow.

    Well played Rand.

  • God damn that interviewer was so annoying. How many times did Rand have to explain the same shit to him

  • another fox rat. guy is a puppet for the war machine

  • fuck u shep. ur a tool, and dishonest. i hate u.

  • the interviewer is plainly trying to put his words in rands mouth.trying to make ron paul look like he is pro drug.he is pro state!!!!!!!!! how hard is that to understand?

  • This guys' only intention was to try and paint Ron Paul as supporting the legalization of Heroin and Cocaine. He can't get through his thick head that it should be regulated at the state level. It's not like people would vote to have heroin or cocaine legalized.

  • @thekeithchannel i agree either that or he is retarded and doesnt understand

  • @thekeithchannel They probably wouldn't vote to legalize those if they were allowed to, but they should.

  • i hate this dude on the left - what an ass clown

  • He can do this all day sir. Go ahead ask him again if Ron Paul is pro-heroin.

  • What an awesome family

  • Good job guy on left on doing your job. You just proved the point that a smaller government really means a smaller federal government. That will increase local governments, where decisions should be made. Ron Paul is the clearest choice to get away from cronny leaders.

  • Grasping for a soundbyte...

  • Guy on left, what a douche bag. He may as well have said "I'm trying to get you to say something you will wish you hadn't so just say yes." Rand Paul seems very intelligible. Must run in the family.

  • I would vote for Rand Paul in a heartbeat if he ran for President!!!

  • Someone in the backstage said: ok I think we got him with the cocaine. Keep it up. Then : naaah he won't gave up end it

  • No, you were implying jackwagon!

  • Shepherd Smith is a douche...

And if Ron Paul doesn't win, Rand Paul should run in 2016...

  • I cant even comprehend WHY people cant understand this concept. how many people are gonna go out and start using heroin even if it were legal.....

  • @krypekeeper they legalized it in London and use dropped dramatically when they received treatment.

  • Tennessee, Kentucky, North/South Carolina, Iowa, Kansas, North/South Dakota nor New Hampshire, in my opinion, would NEVER legalize heroin, cocaine OR marijuana... And that is their right! SAY THAT DURING THESE INTERVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!! THE STATES WILL HAVE RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I hate Hannity......

  • shepard smith is a douchebag !

  • Its really really impressive how he was able to give him a good response to all the questions even when the questions were really obviously biased against him. Rand definitely resembles Ron quite a bit.

  • "did not imply only a question" well now im glad we got to see this on here he obviously answered the question a couple of times at the end of the day who looks stupid.

  • Why does RP organization even bother with fox news? I'm not sure why drugs are even an issue when everybody in the US does drugs in one form or another any damn way. If anything the legalization of drugs would crush illegal markets. Particularly with weed because everyone would just grow their own rather than deal with the street or an alternative med center. And everyone who doesn't use pot life literally would not change a bit aside of people being happier than usual.

  • Fuck you fox!

  • Ps Fuck this guy

  • Ron and Rand 2012!

  • I was impressed with his ability to create the issue, than the pointed and leading commentators questions. the commentators usually interupts more rudely and changes the subject. this one does attempt but he shows some restraint or respect but Rand stays on point which is real difficult. by being persistant with the same question, he allowed Rand to explain fairly well the whole picture. Its really about the Preamble, Bill of Rights and costitution and the Decaration of Independance.

  • what a troll, 'wait so you are saying barring a law, heroine would be legal over the counter' this guy is making it seem like making a state law against heroine would be the hardest thing to pass...smh

  • Can we please stop appealing to the federal government for approval of our lifestyles?

I have never and will never care if my neighbor smokes pot or snorts coke. He probably already does anyway. What a waste of time on these stupid social issues at this point in our history.

  • Rand Paul is a ninja!

  • Shepard we ARENT your sheep asshole.

  • i use marijuana and eat a strictly paleo diet

  • lmao what the following commenters said.... with media like that who needs politicians

  • If one of this Fox's host sons or daughter get's killed by a drug dealer or drug crime, I wouldn't feel bad for people like him.

  • lmao what the following commenters said.... with media like that who needs politicians

  • the interviewer is a head headed dumb fuck. he just wanted to be able to say "Ron Paul wants heroin and cocaine legal, he's a bad man"

  • You know why his name is Shepherd? Because he's the herder of the media goon squad

  • Shepherd Smith: Why don't you go beat up some more women you fucking asshole.

  • Excellent job Rand. Never let them trap you with an answer. Clarify the issue at hand.

  • @zabdula Agreed! I would vote for Ran in a Heart beat if he ran for president! He is just a younger version of RON! :)

  • wow, what a jerk Shep Smith is on here. He is asking the question like that obviously so that people would believe that Ron Paul is in favor of legalizing all that stuff and then acts like Rand is stupid and not answering the "simple question." Rand was so under control, I would have been like well you are asking it like that to make it seem like he is in favor of people using drugs.

  • This "reporter" is a Nit Wit!!!;-)

Ron Paul 2012!! True Freedom For ALL!!!! Individual liberty, not Groups, corrupt politicians put us in!! to steal money. And make us hate the other groups. My Eyes are now Open,TY Ron;-)) Peace

  • Drug War

Our drug policy is wrecking the world. I fear gangs in 250 major cities here in America. We gave them the money to arm themselves. Corruption is in most police forces. We must admit to ourselves that the drug war does not work. Put it in the medical arena, instead of the criminal. Before its to late!!! May get messy, gangs looking for other ways to make money. But the longer we wait, the more they will have to fight us!

  • He was only trying to get him to say yes so people would think he pro cocaine and heroin. Rand made it clear but he just didn't take no for an answer. Of course those drugs wouldn't be legal, people wouldn't vote for them to be legal because they kill you. Harry Anslinger was a known racist and used his war on drugs to control and imprison those people he expressed hate for, He even admitted it when he succeeded.

  • So if the fed doesn't regulate the sale of narcotics, then all states would automatically legalize all drugs??? That reporter is a fucking moron.

  • If this isn't sound clip fishing, I don't know what is.

  • You got clarity man, you need to shove a sock in your mouth.

  • This man understood exactly what Rand repeated over and over that it would be "left up to the state" this is a prime example of how the media is trying to discredit Ron Paul, but there is no way that can be done this man is wonderful and so is everything he is trying to bring our Country back to. Go Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!!

  • How does Fox manage to find such Fucking Assholes? They must be rooting through every dumpster this side of Compton. It's a good thing that the education system in this country is turning out such "Stellar Journalist", otherwise the world might think we're idiots. Fox has gotten worst than CNN or MSNBC and that's something to really aspire to. The new "Kings of the Shitheap"

  • To be in honest, Rand Paul should have just answered yes. Even though it was freaking obvious Rand Paul was saying yes, there was no need to keep going on and on about it.

  • Fox News is busy trying to scare the uneducated again.

  • People forget that our government was not to be the decider in what we as a people do but our individual states dictate our laws. This does not mean the drugs will be legal. Just means we the people in our individual states will have the controls to decide what we want. This is how our country was ment to run. Look at it this way i was charged with a misdemeanor for possession of a small amount of pot as a young man years ago. An i was informed by my aresting officer that i could have a felony

  • Was a trading nation... but cut off from the rest of the world...

If we were cut off from the world, how did we trade?

  • @CoralChains Yeah neocons are idiots. They think if you're not murdering everyone around the world that you're somehow cutoff from the world. Trade doesn't count, travel visas don't count. Only warmongering and murder counts as not being cut off from the world to them.

  • Yes, just like there is no federal law against the sale of Four Loko, Everclear and 151 you dense TOOL!

  • rand is awesome

  • "I'm not implying anything." and I was born yesterday! Will the MSM ever grasp the fact that shifting the authority of drug regulation to the states does not mean Ron Paul supports legalization of drugs? What state would ever legalize heroine or cocaine? Maybe Nevada, but that would likely take at least 100 years before that would happen!

  • @paulcoonan This is EXACTLY what all of the bought and paid for Cable News stations feed off of. The sheeples inability to rationally form an educated opinion for themselves. Just look at the mindless morons blasting Dr. Paul on foreign policy. None of them know nor care to learn the difference between isolationism and noninterventionism.

  • im begging someone, ANYONE punch that reporter straight in the mouth, ive never been able to watch him without being incredibly angered

if anyone did that, i would applaud you wildly

have i mentioned i HATE that guy

  • i HATE that fox news reporter, i hate him with a passion, hes the kind if i grew up with him, id have totally fought him for being such a weasel

  • patient man ! I wood have lost my cool & chocked out the interviewer

  • @ararat123457 would

  • i think the real take-home message and what rand paul fails to mention is that all of the states ALREADY HAVE LAWS prohibiting the possession and trafficking of heroin and cocaine

  • God, who is this piss worm? He answered the question like 10 times. What an idiot!

  • funny how the news guy keeps repeating heroin & cocaine.. talk about mind control and brainwashing... 1 time he mentioned heroin & marijuana then quickly changed it to cocaine... haha u motherfuckers THE PEOPLE R WAKING UP we will have our world back... i pray 4 you sons of bitches

  • Somebody tell that faux news that the Presidents don't write law, but can pardon nonviolent drug offenders, and Ron Paul's already said that's exactly what he's going to do.

  • the only thing this idiot is good for is his jenny on the block curb job blooper.

  • Faux news* is so desperately trying to put words in his mouth.

  • I like all of Ron's ideas except for Isolationism, especially militarily. I don't think it's the American tax-payer paying for other countries defences, it's the American tax-payer paying for America/n's defence(s). The world is a much smaller place and sometimes you need to have bases around the world to protect America(ns). It was nice having the US Navy stationed in Dubai when I lived there in '01 and it's nice knowing that US military is going to be here in Australia where I live now.

  • I wish sen. paul would have just said really.... Like you really beleave shep that your state would allow the sale of those substances just because federal government didn't day it was bad? I don't think any state would go all ape and lose it like shep was saying. I think some drug laws may become tighter or more strict.

  • Wow....how does that guy sleep at night? All the drugs he buys from big pharma from the money he gets from big media.

  • At first I didn't know how much I liked Rand. I think that Rand could be president. If Ron doesn't win this go around Rand could be next in line behind his father.

  • @libermusic67 Rand Paul for Vice President?

  • @globalpreparation No I mean real president say in 2016.

  • I do enjoy the occasional Fox News program, but folks like this guy (Shep something?) and Hannity just look like morons when they try to pin their own misinterpreted understanding of ideas coming from someone far more intelligent, that being Ron Paul.

  • presstitudes have no shame. Fox is unbearable to watch.how the GOP was completely hijacked by these ass clowns is shameful. the fact that people can't see that they are clearly propagandist amazes me. the best way to tell who to vote for is the one they hate the most.

  • He should have just responded to the Heroin and Coke part as follows..

No state is going to deregulate the prohibiton or leave the use of of coke and heroin unchecked just because there's no federal law prohibiting their use/supply etc. You don't instantly just abolish federal laws which prohibit such drugs, leaving the states wide open to be fucked on. There would be planning and measures in place long before the federal laws were removed, so that the states could best be prepared.

    SLAP

  • wow. this is a stupid interview.

  • I want to go to 7/11 and buy myself a bag of weed without being incarcerated.

  • i wish i could a line of cocaine every once in a while when i got a 6 pack ....... Choice.... It is our choice and we have to remember that

  • I wish Rand Paul would grow some balls and say: "Yes!" Drugs would be legal. STOP being squeamish Rand. Be honest. That's why people like Ron Paul.

    We need to legalize freedom.

  • what a scumbag so called "journalist"

    \

  • You can tell by the interview that these idiots at Fox and others are biased against Ron Paul who is right and they are wrong . The money masters however will lose tons of money if Paul were to get elected and for them that cannot happen . Please send Fox and other "news" outlets an email telling them that you don't like them smearing Ron Paul and to stop swaying the vote . Pass this message along , Vote and recruit for Dr. Paul and help save your country .

  • Good Job Rand holding your composure..., I would have hit sheppy with an eyebrow comment for sure,.,,,

  • VIEW COUNT IS RIGGED, FRAUDULENT

  • "SHEMP" Smith. What a stooge.

  • I have always thought that guy had an evil face.

  • I wish he would grill someone that hard on the GMO's in our food or flouride in our water.

  • @PEACE19611 Okay i'm a huge Ron Paul supporter but i've studied industrial chemistry and the fluoride in our water has shown to be hugely beneficial in the reduction of tooth decay and has shown to give no adverse health effects other than very mild dental fluorosis which is just very pale white streaks on the teeth and carries no other adverse health effects. Note that serious dental fluorosis is nearly impossible due to the low concentrations present in the water.

  • Shep would be the first in line when cocaine is legal.

  • What a sorry interviewer! He answered the question a million times. Let him breathe!

  • this guy is retarded, Rand Paul gave really mature answers..I think I would have lost my temper with this moron asking the same dumbass questions over and over and over again

  • When the closet-homosexual interviewer kept drilling him about Ron Paul allowing States to have cocaine sold over the counter, over and over, Rand should've just said, "It's self-explanatory".

  • I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but seriously, those making conspiracy theories out of YouTube view counts freezing at 304 look like idiots.

  • Why won't Youtube give an accurate view count????? How can 606 people like this if only 304 people have viewed this. Also, what is up with the number 304, they always stop Ron Paul views at 304. C'mon Youtube !!! Freedom for all.

  • Good job Rand. Ron raised him well. =)

  • Rand Paul just needs to simply say "YES". These things can be sold over the counter. That is 100% acceptable to us grown adults. These things should be sold over the counter in recreational doses just like alcohol. If they are in the market they face more safety scrutiny then they do in the black market. If you use too much heroin you can die just like if you use too much alcohol. It's time to grow up people and accept responsibility. ;)

  • Drug use of all sorts are the prerogative of the user. The government has no place dictating what free people put into their bodies.

  • its the States right ya fucking idiot.if they chose to be crack heads thats on them.OMG i hate that guy.

  • @PrvtParapup Don't hate him he's just a puppet doing what his boss is telling him.. i.e. Murdoch... On second thought, go ahead he really is a mega-douche....:-) LOL

  • YES, ASSHOLE... IT'D BE LEGAL!!! FREEDOM OF CHOICE, BITCH!!!
