Actually cain and able is a 2 part software, install the server on your victims computer, sniff their packets, and connect to that server using the client component (the on the hacker's own computer) and steal passwords left and right for online banking if you really want to be a criminal, but with this software it is possible.

ok i got it but as u show your pass word well for me it shows it as decoded eg.1764 just numbers and cracking it doesnt even work is there any other way the decoded info. can be read
hey im testing this out on my own and i log into my fb accoutn with the sniffer on and wen i come to chek what it has captured it just shows a bunch of letters and numbers for the under the email address and pwd columns??

so a packet sniffer "sniff" a packet which we then edit and save as a .dll file. then we inject it back into the system? this is all so confusin =?
