  • I feel blessed by listing these ever green truths. Thanks a lot to those who has made these available. Loard Murugan will bless them.

  • Please einze words listen closely. this is tamil.

tamil live long. Tamil hold together.

  • Considering that Avvai was a Tamil and rendered such a rich thoughtful hymes, unfortunately we have not carried her message to the younger generation. Its a shame that Tamils are today behind the porn based Tamil movies dirty politics.

  • Does Auvai look like KBS Amma? Does that kid look like Lord Muruga? Was that temple scene taken in Tamil Nadu or in the Heavens? Because of the extreme blending devotion and spiritualism with film making we have this Evergreen scene. If I am not mistaken about 50 years had passed-by since the making of this scene but there is no complains. This will keep moving Tamil lover a 1000 year to come, that for sure.

  • @MultiClearsky Avvai is a title. There were 12 avvayyars in ancient history.

  • @MultiClearsky great comment! keep it up !l

luv d KBS amma s song!

  • I don't know what moves people. The thamizh, or the voice or the making. Will transcend time I hope.

  • This mainly due to the power of lord nothing else can move so effectively.isn't it?

  • To me this song is good lession for ever.

  • hai

  • "Arumugam thanjamedi!" -- Siddhar Siva Yogaswamigal of Jaffna

  • Was this song really belong to Oovyar? Or some modern day poet wrote these verses for this move?

  • @muthushiv Its Auvaiyar definitely...

  • @muthushiv This song is a collection of Naaladigals of Avvai herself

  • Hi panjimutai, Please share the whole translation. I would be grateful to you.

    1. Its Very difficult to be born as Human

    2. Even if someone born as human its difficult to be born without deaf dump blind etc

    3. Even if someone born without deaf dump blind etc still its very difficult to get Knowledge and Education.

    4. Even if he has Knowledge and Education its very difficult to see that person doing Dhana(Selfless sacrifice) and Tava(Meditation)

5.If someone does this Dhana and Tava then The doors of Heaven will be open for them.

  • Thanks Murugabhaktan. Please post the other question and answers too in continuation.

  • Next Question is which is Big ?

    1.Earth is Big..

2.Earth is created by Brahma..(Naan Mugan)

3.Brahma is from belly of Vishnu(Kariya Mal)

4.Vishnu is a person who resides in Sea (Aalai Kdal)..

5.Sea is within the hands of Agasthiya (Kuru Muni)

    7. That kalasam is made of sand from Land

    10.But Parvathy is within Shiva..

11.Shiva is within hearts of his devotees..

    12. So praising siva devotess is the biggest thing.

  • Dear Murugabhaktan, Thank you very much for translating it into english.

  • Ok.Here is the rest of the transalation of conversation.,...

Lord is asking which is Joyful ???

    1.Being Lonely is Joyful...

2.Better then being lonely , its joyful to worship the core(Truth)

3.Better then worshiping core its much joyful to be in company with scholars

4.Better then being with scholars much joyful is seeing these scholars in dream and in reality.

  • MurugaBhakta, is the translation on line 1 - for "ekantham" = "lonely" appropriate? Lonely sound alone and not a good thing. Wheres "ekantham" seems to have more meaning from a spiritual perspective.

Also a kind reminder to work on the last para of the song - "what is new? asked by our murugan".

  • From spiritual perspective being lonely is the joyful state (ecstacy)...this will help people to focus on ultimate supreme power which will end there birth and death cycle..Will post the last para of song in a day or 2 ...Thanks for your comments.

  • Please Please Please Pleeeaaaaaaaaaaaase Pleeeaaaaaaaaaaaase Pleeeaaaaaaaaaaaase give the english translation for the conversation between the saint (avvaiyar) and Lord Muruga

  • actually the WHOLE song is a coversation or an answer to the question asked by murugan in the interval. do u still want the translation? i dont mind sharing with u ;)
