@DaQuadPlay That is all that's needed really. HC or whatever they call themselves only did stand dances which isn't a feature. Just don't go out there, take a cue from S.Durham and PF. EES did do more than just stand dances but the level of difficulty isn't there. They did cover a little ground so yeah they would be second. The Jewels, there performance begins before when they stand up and leaves when they are out the door. They jump, they leap, they spin, they roll. Just on a different level

And even a subpar routine from then would still run circles through whatever EES had.. I know you put this question to Bsax but why learn new songs if he really doesn't care or does he favor one section over another?

@prettypiccolo11 no theres no favoritism, if you havent noticed the majority of the songs smith played has already been played before... so there was really nothing new learned from the band or the dance girls... and as we know its easier to learn a short band song than it is to make up and learn a new dance feature....

@babyboi13d Unless I misunderstood what you wrote, you were implying that Smith's routine was a full feature, thus harder to learn than a routine to a "short band song" . I was merely pointing out that the dance routine that the MSPH dancers did what actually longer and more complex than what the Smith Dancers did. Now did I misunderstand what you were saying?

@khafre06 yeah you did, what im saying is they used they same feature, because the routine that they would have learned wouldnt have been clean enough for the battle... when i was saying short songs i was talking about the songs like dirty diana and swamp, a learn in one day song.... my comment had nothing to do with westovers girls..

@babyboi13d Okay, well my bad then. However, Pratt has been to Westover's Jamboree before, and he knows that we go hard all the time. So knowing what you are walking into, why not prepare your kids for it. This is the youtube era, people all over the world are seeing this. Auxiliary has long been one of the weakest elements of the MMM.

@khafre06 its cool, but the auxiliary is actually a recent problem, before 2006 dance line and flag line was winning they categories like the band was.... back then they had actual dancers girls who took dancing classes when they were younger... now its not like that all...

@babyboi13d Umm, I was going to sit this one out but I just can't. It is universally recognized that Westover's Auxiliary is head and shoulders above any others in this county. Honestly, I have not seen a high school band in this state that can touch these young ladies. The Ladies of Gold, were nice. As many have stated already, they have been doing the same thing all year long. The Platinum Jewels and Royal Essence set the standard, that is why so many bands "borrow" their style.
