@Unworkable34 It kind of does. Master Quest for the 3DS includes the double damage-part that Hero Mode had. Also, it mirrors the whole game (like TP Wii did with TP GC). In addition, it has the altered dungeons that were present in the GC Master Quest.

Yeah, that's a sad truth, especially with some competitive fields, where someone would rather chicken out at the face of defeat than go down fighting. If any one here plays random matchup on pokemon, you'll know what I'm getting at, where people quit instead of fighting 'till the end. The meaning of bravery, honor, and will... Zelda captures that essance perfectly.

What you guys fail to realize is what kind of Goddesses would they be if Hyrule were forced to be nice, love everyone, and have no will? Would you want someone to love you because they had no choice in the matter (fake love) or want someone to love you because they genuine think you're an amazing person? (real love) Yes, the tragedies suck and all that, but for all that willing evil, there is willing good. The goddesses don't do things for Hyrule, because they can do them for themselves.

The mushroom kingdom gets it's princess kidnapped and thats pretty much it. Hyrule on the other hand loses it's princess, has entire city's destroyed, lakes drained, and monsters invading everywhere that was safe. IMO zelda just has a much more rewarding feel when you kick ganons ass.
