Densha De Go! 2 Kousokuhen 3000 - Gameplay (Dreamcast)

There's a lot of non-obvious precision needed to play this sim well. At each station you're scheduled to stop at, you must come to a stop within one meter fore or aft of the stop marker, AND no earlier than, or no more than 5 seconds past the time at the top left of the screen. Not so easy with a train.

Arriving early screws you by placing you closer to the train ahead. Which means yellow signals (slow down!). The gotcha is you didn't get any additional time to make your next station.

@RailRide i think it is the actual requirement of the JR system, and you can actually find the requirement changing from line to line as well (even under a single Densha de Go! title), some rural line allow 2-3 meters, and +/- 1 minutes... though I know you ll still go for the perfect perfect 5 centimeter and 0 second cause I do xD

Indeed, that's because unfortunately it's a PS1 conversion, and not an original Dreamcast game.
