This was a bad move by the White House but I have a lot of respect for David Axelrod so I'm sticking with him. He ran a great campaign and he got Obama elected.
I'm from Canada and everyone I know also thinks that Fox news is a joke, for example in Fox's "news" was the fact that the new Nuclear Summit logo looked like a Muslim flag when in fact it was the Bohr model of hydrogen. On another note I tried to watch MSNBC the other day. They were doing a news story that took place a year ago. That along with the constant Palin and Bush stories basically made me stop watching them. The stories they have are not current and are boring frankly. CNN and FOX have current news. FOX is a little right winged. CNN is left center. You need both to get the full picture. MSNBC is just a joke now. The Place for Politics is their motto. The Place for Playing Politics more like it.

If you want to know what real news is like, look at a Canadian news channel like Global or CBC, or try BBC. You know what just watch the Daily Show with John Stewart.

On another note I tried to watch MSNBC the other day. They were doing a news story that took place a year ago. That along with the constant Palin and Bush stories basically made me stop watching them. The stories they have are not current and are boring frankly. CNN and FOX have current news. FOX is a little right winged. CNN is left center. You need both to get the full picture. MSNBC is just a joke now. The Place for Politics is their motto. The Place for Playing Politics more like it.

Fox's overall higher ratings come from its opinion-based shows (O'Reilly and Beck), not its "news" programs. This is troubling, since many people will be receiving opinion and not unfiltered information (i.e. Bill O'Reillys talking points, Karl Rove and Bill Kristol's political "analysis")

"If made free". BUZZ. Nothing is "single pay" right now. You do not even understand the facts in the healthcare debate. It is to offer a Public Option. This Option would compete with other insurance plans. If you don't want lower prices, stick with your plan. If you want lower more affordable prices, you have the choice of Public Option. You still have to pay into it, just a reasonable amount. Econ 101 is party neutral. Simple economics are not partisan.

2/3 of US GDP is consumer spending. that is 6 to 7 trillion dollars, roughly equivalent to the entire GDP of the UK, Germany and China combined. how does continuing to bail out banks, and 750 billion of stimulus fill a 7 trillion dollar hole? foreclosures are at record levels, and "government" does nothing-they are even considering bailing out newspapers, with no mention of helping us. it is unfortunate that perhaps you must lose your job and home to figure it out.
