hey just asking a question to anyone whos reading this i have an amd turion x2 ultra 64 processer to my knowledge im using 1 processer will using the other processer speed up my pc
1) When I change number of processors is 1 , then I check make all boot settings permanent , then I restart my computer , and then I wan change 4 but I only get 1.
2) Previous of 1) , My number of processors is 4 , then I change to 1 , and my computer is more faster than processors 4 , then problem came out in 1)
@nOoBsHyPerKiDz if you type in the msconfig without the g then it will say not found, you have to type in the full word for it to show, hope this helped
@nikkolei it would be just fine im pretty sure. he uses a 3 core processor so he chose 3, his max, u have 2, so u can choose 2
In any case it is said that even if you dont choose the amount of processors to use on boot up, windows will automatically use the maximum, however many ppl say it does make it faster no matter the fact
I have a problem. I have a quad-core processor. I chose to run 1 processor and restarted the computer. Before, I could choose up to 4. Now, all I can choose is 1.
@VTProductionsPC please help me man your the only 1 ive found that is close to fixing my problem, i have a "Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz"
When i go to change my processes to 4 it only has 1 ive tried restarting nothing works please help me, i liked and just subbed :D
