these shows are "cast" and a lot of the audition process is for show. at least it is like that in the US. agents send their talent to the auditions and the pre producers know who they are and their bio's.
*sigh* My mam went to see Grease with Danny and Suan but I didn't want to. These two would have been perfect. Anthony is gorgeous and Alison is so cute. Perfect for Danny and Sandy. Gosh, I haven't watched these videos in a year! Haveing said that, Susan is great. She's Irish, like me, and amazing singer.

Allison was stuck up and come across horrible, her last song was FLAT and she deserved to go! Michelle and Susan are the best Sandys! Allison was not a Sandy figure, and most most of the time just screeched. Danny B is by far the best Danny and has to win, I dont mind the women, but I think Susan has the edge. Allison said it was a fix just because she didnt get in, Vicky didnt agree, she needs to go and sort herself out because she wernt right for this part. :)

'Twas fixed from Day Zero. Ian isn't looking for the best couple for the theatre - he's looking for the best couple for HIM. Alison and Anthony are simply too big. They hijacked his whole sorry show. No one cared about Grease anymore - they tuned in to see this amazing duo. Ian can't stand that and his ego can't tolerate it either. They're simply too amazing.
After watching another week of boring talent it's good to be able to come back to this. A true classic. These two are golden. As Anthony says, 'Alison is sex with a capital S'. THEY SHALL WIN!

I did a lot of shouting at the telly when these two got split up and agree with Alison that they were trying to oust her from the competition. Hate the way Vicki sings, she never finishes her words! Really hope Ali and Ant can win out their semi's....she's a bubbly little cheerleader all over and he is a sexy boy with twinkle in his eyes, for me they are the ONLY Sandy & Danny. Dunno if 'they' were trying to get rid of Alison. Why? She's sensational. Sex with a capital 's' as Anthony says. Look what she's done with Anthony. This vocal she does here - OMG. And she brings out the best in him. But I do think it was damned stupid of Ian to do this. Seriously: Ian has to know they're his meal ticket and have eclipsed the excitement around the show and competition.
Danny and Susan? No charisma. Sad story. Really. They don't come close to Anthony and Alison. NO ONE can. Anthony and Alison are an unexpected element to this competition - they overshadow the whole thing. The excitement they generate - no, sorry: Danny and Susan are duds, and not just in comparison. That's my take.
I have not seen the whole show, only clips, but it seems like the caliber of performers on this show is on a lower level than the "Joseph" show. This guy is ok, but he started out flat and she needs to work on a much fuller tone - very nasal.
just look how Alison and Anthony look and smile at each other. this couple has the best NATURAL chemistry in the show and they just have a whale of time
omg that note alison does at the end is so lovely, gives me goosebumps xD she carried on so well to end it. really love these two singing together :)

Because Allison was not as gd as a singer as the other girls. And Anthony is too much of a crooner. And some weeks they did sing quite flat.
