  • If all hell breaks loose you going to die!!!!

  • These'll keep me safe in a post apocolyptic world when an angry mob of 'critters' and 'varmits' attack me and my family. Maybe a bottle of moonshine will help steady my aim.

  • .22

    not this crap

  • Believe it or not, sparrow is good eatin'. Not much meat tho. I've harvested many with a bb gun. As far as thermal sights, they can be defeated with common sense and space blankets.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah... Hah..haaa.

  • your retarded

  • you can never have too many firearms!!!!!!!! worst video ever!

  • Living in jungle in Hawaii for almost a year is normal for some of us growers. I eat vegetation bug soup, fish. I have a S&W stainless steel 357, but I keep tons of 38+P ammo barred in a ammo can. I wear Light cloths that cover me, best boots, keep fit. Know about every plant around you. Carry antibiotics, salt, ammo, pistol and anti fungus cream hygiene stuff, misquote net, Nalgine bottle, and plastic tarp, etc. don't carry more then 15, lbs. Blend in if you have to slip into town.

  • This is the absolute WORST prepper video I have ever seen on Youtube. BBs? Technology is not always a benefit to humanity... Before the internet, I had greater hope for mankind because I didn't know so many people were so fucking stupid, but now I'm simply overwhelmed by the fact the world functions as well as it does.

  • @TJ347 I feel the same way man. In the age of information, why are there so many retards?

  • Fighting against the government aside. How do you plan to convice looters to stay out? As far as I'm concerned, those BB guns are just clubs in a survival scenerio. At minimun , you need a .22L. It's better to have and not need than to be SOL. This might help someone on a very , very limited budget but I would never depend these toys for food or protection. Goodluck

  • can you say cointelpro? don't fight back, yeah.

  • Very wise information!!

  • .22lr is the best if you want to survive... it can take down anything from a squirel, to a human, or even a deer if necessary.. i have a high powered air rifle for such a situation, but if i have to constantly 'move' and can only carry so much, i choose a glock22 (.40sw), with a 9mm conversion barrel/mag, and a .22lr kit, and a henry survival rifle (.22lr), for hunting.. and an .223 ar-15 for 'defence'/and or hunting.., 3 eazy to carry weapons chambered in the most common rounds available..

  • The military will be using nato 5.56 and 7.62x52. What is wildly available is 7.63x39 (ak ammo). When shits its the fan I would think you might be helping the military and I don't think they will be hunting down people. So having a gun they have tons of ammo for would be your best bet. You could get ammo from falling soldiers, or trade with them. BBs are fun if your 10 .Please use goggles though, you might shoot your eye out.

  • In an economic collapse you will need a lot more calories than a finch or a squirrel. Not only will an AR-15 or AK-47 provide big game, which is abundant, but it will be a defensive gun also. People will be going crazy during a situation like this. You must be a democrat!

  • @rangerranger98

In a SHTF scenario big game is going to disappear quickly. And people who live in cities aren't going to have that game to start with. And it would be a waste of ammo and the animal to try to kill small game like squirrels with large caliber weapons.

He's not saying a bb gun is all you need. He's saying that it will bring in more calories, cheaper and quieter than other weapons. Plus bb's don't need special equipment or chemicals to reload them.

  • Thanks for the video-I didn't think about bb guns for silent, cheap, small game hunting.

  • im pretty sure, you could wait for them to come in and shoot one in the head, and then have a nice knife to stab the others!!!!!!! if it comes down to it,or how ever it plays out

  • I AM READY WITH MY BANANA SHOOTER AND MY WATER GUN!

BB GUN? I WILL NEED A RAMBO MACHINE GUN IS WE EVER HAD A COLLAPSE

  • @elpedorro2 random

  • BB/pellet guns would be good for hunting small small game, quiet and cheap, etc. I think everyone should have one in a SHTF situation. but in case you really have to defend yourself, i say have a high caliber rifle.

they are two very different situations and need two very different firearms. so i guess i dont agree with you that people are going too far with getting big guns, but i do agree that everyone should have one of these, birds are plentiful

  • Pellet rifles are fine....but there is no substitute for an AR-15 for home defense, or shooting down a helicopter.... get one while they are legal........

  • Pellet rifles are fine....but there is no substitute for an AR-15 for home defense, get one while they are legal........

  • these are perfect for European countries where we're not allowed to have big guns

  • the more guns the better

    guerrilla warfare

  • Dude WTF? You have a pellet gun and a bb gun for a possible WROL scenario. Ummmmmmmm you can get a Mosin Nagant for $150 that shoots a 7.62/54r which is a massive fucking round. Good for hunting, taking out vehicles, and can put a hole in a mother fucker the size of an orange. Forget the kiddy toys boss

  • @GOLDSILVERDUDE maybe hes worried about being overrun by a gang of birds. but even so if you think you need to hunt to eat you won teat well with a pellet gun . he seems to have a beaten down mentality that you can t fight them . puss. he needs to read PATRIOT by Rawles. so he can get some reality and learn how equal we are

  • final somebody that makes sense, on guns

  • Nooooo, a bee bee gun? If you are trying to conceal sound, learn to shoot a bow. In reality guns are going to be used not only to hunt, but also to protect. I have a gun for each scenario. I.E. short rang, mid, and long rang. Can't take down a deer with a bee bee gun, can't hunt a duck with a pellet gun. I live here in Utah, people in my county still open carry. Deer walk through my neighborhood, economic collapse will be different here, then in other parts of the country.

  • hypothetically....if it comes to it, who gives a shit if we are out matched numerically and technologically? The question is gonna be...do you lay down and let them do as they please or do you stand and quite possibly die for what you believe in? I say, better to die on your feet than live on your knees. That technology can be captured and made ours if we play our cards right. A guerrilla's gotta be clever.

  • This is your idea of defense?

  • @rubymickey he stated in the video that these are merely for hunting. the ammo is cheap, there quiet and pack enough punch for small to medium sized game.

  • When making war with the beast, the beast shall provide your large weapons. All large weapons can be obtained with a single shot from a smaller one.

  • the best weapon to own during this is a nice 22 cal or a ak style weapon in 5.56mm(type 56,galil,ak105 vector ect) ammo is plenteful and you can use for hunting, zombies, and if needed people, and the best thing to do is stay away from people,as they may not have your mind set, also stop playing, and watching vids,if you thing about it alot of american civilans own guns if somebody or something where to attack they would have a shit storm,im sure armed americans aint gonna let a enemy take our shit.

  • Learn to bowhunt.

  • were getting invaded by rodants????? LOL

  • dude your fucking with BB guns?????????? HAHAHAHAHAHA those are good for shooting birds out of trees nothing more.

  • @AntBanks2626 A good air rifle is quite capable of taking small game and killing coyotes and wild dogs. In the hands of an expert, they can even be used to hunt deer. We're not talking about your kid's daisy BB gun, these are real, weapons. Personally, in a WoRoL(Without Rule of Law) survival situation, I would chose a good high powered .22 air rifle over a .22 chemical rifle. As the poster says, the ammo is dirt cheap, compact, and silent.

  • dont bring them to hunt around here lol

the bears will rip you apart

  • let's hope you don't shoot your eye out...

  • Great video. I try to tell people stealth will be key. Go fire off a rifle round and watch how fast people come down on you.

  • Stealth hunting will be your best friend.Just my thoughts on the matter. You are backing my own thoughts up on the matter. Thanks for the vid.

  • Excellent advice. I keep a little .22 pistol and a .22 bolt action with a silencer, 1500 rounds of subsonic for both and 200 HVs for the rifle only (for roos). After your great presentation here, I'm gonna buy the most powerful air-rifle I can find.

I also keep lots of fishing, crabbing, shrimping gear, a smoker, solar oven and a large gravity water purifier.

I hope things don't fall apart completely, but if they do I guess I'm about as ready as I can be.

  • great idea brother i never thought of it that way we used to shoot all kinds of pests with bb's and pellets.

  • I have that larger gun. It is a one pump and the power of it is unequaled. I use it to rid our house red squirrels. In most cases it passes through the body. A quick and clean kill.

  • ive been thinking about this for a long time! its true. we have no chance against those who wish to enslave us. the techonology the higher people have leave us little chance of standing up to fight! the only way to really make a revolutionary change, is to become like them and attack from within, and take all their positions. this will take many centeries to do though and many loyal people who will resist curruption with money and power trips!

  • @streetstaruk Imagine how your forefathers thought when they could only muster 5% of

the American people to fight for freedom. I imagine the other 95% thought like you do ,about the mighty British

    army.

it comes down to cowardice and those who rather die than live in slavery

  • @dave777blaster true. they now try the stealth mode, so i think we need to do the same. upfront conflict never seems to work, unless the entire nation comes to a hault and fights together. i will protect my family if push comes to shove, but i am not gonna dive in and get killed amoungst the few, like many have, and change still aint come. i wont leave my family alone without me 2 help protect them. peace.

  • @dave777blaster

Here Here my friend I agree to the fullest degree. There are many people that understand what you say and growing fast. That is what WE as the people have to work with THIS time. I know that I am proud and fortunate to have lived in this time and had the opportunity to walk on the free est land with the most opportunity man has ever and will ever know. This is NOT the Land of the Free - Home of the Brave by default YOU HAVE TO PROVE IT!!!! TEXAS OUT

  • @AntBanks2626

    That's the spirit

  • @streetstaruk your a real soldier ,they say a platoon of Canadian Diplomats can accomplish what the whole US Army can.

  • "problem with big guns is they make you think you're the hunter not the hunted" Robert A.Heinlein

  • I agree man. Attract less attention for the better. Check out the Crossman 1377C. Good hunting power and can pack it in a BOK or bag.

  • Good thinking about the low noise vs urban/suburban location.

  • How come they cannot find or kill Bin Laden with all that techology. I guess it is not all in the techology.

  • Add a small sailboat, and fishing equipment as well...... eating the same ol thing gets really old really quick. so check it out you should head out to sea LOL in my professional opinion. Just think about it you can eat 98% of the shit in the ocean as long as it doesn't eat you first. OH yeah and you can see the enemies or the competition coming several miles away. Oh yeah and sea sickness is over after the first few hours or days. and do not forget the water maker

  • Remember an M-14 has a range of 4 miles, so a helicoper with a 1000 yards can be shot down. With a scope the pilot, an dco-pilot can be popped very quick. You sound like you are going to lay down and accept the mark of the beast, and giv eup. I myself fought in the nam, and I do not intend to lay down to tyrants, and I will fight until I cannot fight anymore, but atleast I will take many out before they take me out.

  • A pellet gun and BB gun is not going to keep off a gang. Helicopters can be shot down with high powered rifles. Dude that is what they want you to believe that you cannot beat them. Everybody can be defeated. You sound like a government agent trying to make people be unarmed to deal with tyrants. The technology they have can be out smarted.

  • @NWO20122012 you've seen too many movies man. if a scenario such as that were to happen and thats a big if more like an epically big if. You're best bet would be to keep as low of a profile as possible. You go out thinking your john rambo you'd be cut down in seconds.

  • @NWO20122012 This type of rifle is not for defending yourself and your property from attack, it is for hunting small game cheaply and silently. The poster never said it was for anything else. In fact, he said to get a shotgun and/or pistol for defense.

  • @NWO20122012

I don't care how many guns you've got in your home. You aren't going to defend your home from attack helicopters. And if you are using guns for game you will draw attention to yourself from miles away. A bb gun can take down anything smaller than a ground hog and with a pellet most things smaller than a dog. The ammo is cheap and reusable and for the $ it will bring in more calories in the long run.

  • I think this is one of the better pieces of advice I've found on youtube. Lately I've been watching alot of "how to prepare" videos simply because almost all of them are giving out horrible advice. I'm glad someone out there has a brain, that is interested in this topic. There are people depending on this information (sadly). This is the first I've seen that didn't stop at what assualt rifles to buy. lol Good thoughts my man.

  • If the U/S/ military's technology could guarantee victory, Iraq, Vietnam and Afghanistan would have turned out much better. So the technology didn't mean sh#$ when people when guerrillas were hitting and running.

  • I LOOOVE the AA 12 Auto Shotgun for home invasions. It's the gun that keeps giving and giving at a home invasion party :0)

  • the air rifle on the right looks like a crossman storm xt,mine will kill squirrels w/ a wide variety of pellets.and the range is greater than someone might expect,it,s about as long as a remington 700 bdl,and about as weighty, but you are dead right, perfect small game getter, and you dont have to sign anything to buy one,1500 pellets take up no room at all.great vid.

  • I used to think as you do and the pellet guns ARE very good for small game. I am convinced there will still be lots of game, hunting is not a cake walk, after the shooting starts deer become very spooked. Only experienced hunters or outdoors men will have most of the luck. Some beginners will be in the right place at the right time but for the most part the deer will win. Weapons should be for food, escape or self defense, firefights are way out of reality against trained military firepower.

  • On the cheap you could get a Mosin and buy enough ammo basically forever 880rds shipped can be had for something like 20 cents a round and the mosin you can buy for like $80 if you search for them.

  • Interesting take I've not seen put forth before. I think it has merit on a number of levels but probably of more use to urban dwellers than people in more "country" locations. I have a fairly high power air rifle and to be honest it seems almost as loud as my .22! Maybe just me. In any case ammo is dirt cheap as you stated, and proper storage is much simpler for the long haul. Range could be an issue IMO, but I would definitely think it a worthy addition to ones gear.

  • Might I add a childrens comp bow? light, easy to use. And can take down small game like foxes, bobcats... nabiors yappy little lapdog >_> Not to mention its silent and in need be you can take out a human, Let us all hope it dose not come down to that but yeah.

  • you all needn't worry about your future, all is well, and all will be well. do not attempt to encourage civil unrest, you will fail. To the creator of this video, you have good intention but these preparations are not necessary and you should not try to inspire these people with the words of economic collapse and militia.

  • @aceyaboiii What fantasy world are you living in? Anything could happen. How do we know? Because alot of it has happened before!

  • This video brought to you by the same wackos who brought you the Y2K scare!

  • Sorry i cant comment ....I'm laughing too hard....... a frigging BB gun hhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • @MrDowneast Why is that so funny? He isn't saying you get into a fire fight with it, only that it's good for taking down small game, which it is. It's quiet, cheap, and ammo storage is a no-brainer. Birds, rabbits, cats, rats, etc would be easily brought down. In this SHTF scenario so many seem worried about, you're going to be eating what you can kill, not necessarily what you want.

  • I always crack up at these folks who are such experts...that they tell us we have no chance against the US military.

Please explain to me (This is a short history lesson) how the Afghani's were able to beat the Russians in the 80's? We are talking about a society that was still living in the 1600's and were able to take on a modern army and beat them! The Russians used everything but Nuclear Weapons.

The Afghani's were using 303 Enfields and AK's. With some Stingers thrown in but they still won.

  • @countrysamurai I say arm up to the teeth and hope that things won't get so bad that you are going to need them.

I have been preparing for 30 years and I am convinced, that things are going to get so bad, that our physical security is going to be our primary concern...I have seen enough SHTF scenarios to know that the full size weapons are priceless...then when you have everything else in place...food, water...weapons, ammo...then get the air guns or bow and arrow.

    Any questions? Good...

  • @countrysamurai ..

    Ahhh, I love your thinking!!!

Three things, 12 gauge shotgun, 45ACP. and 7.62 x 39 mm... All good..

  • @jaxzurr You are absolutely correct!

Thank you and very good choices...

  • @countrysamurai That's not a history lesson. The Afghanis didn't "beat" the russian army. They "won" by surviving and out-lasting the russian governments willingness to keep spending money and lives on the whole mess. If the Russians had so desired, and knew they could get away with it on the world stage, they could have wiped Afghanistan off the face of the planet along with most every man, woman, and child in the country.

  • @tgreening Won...outlasted them? You're talking semantics. Fact is...the Russians got their asses handed to them.

The Afghani's fought a guerilla war and got them to leave...same effect. No different than our experience in Vietnam. This is the essence of warfare...all you have to do is destroy your enemies ability to fight or more importantly...his will to fight. We did this to the Germans and the Japanese as well. It had become too expensive to fight anymore. Thus ends the lesson.

  • @countrysamurai Too expensive? Are you nuts? The Germans and Japanese did get beat and they got beat in every sense of the word. The Germans got beat both physically and emotionally. Their physical ability to wage war was physically destroyed. Same with the Japanese the only difference being the military leadership would have continued the madness until every man woman and child was dead. The Afghanis survived, that's it. Don't flatter yourself. Teacher.

  • @countrysamurai One thing you got right, it was the Russian version of Viet Nam. A war lost not by a military but by it's civilian leadership more interested in politics and what they saw as "The Big Picture". Nam couldn't be escalated to it's necessary level due to fear of getting into it with Russia and/or China (same issue in the Korean War) and Russia couldn't escalate Afghanistan due to fear of our intervention. So endeth YOUR lesson.

  • @countrysamurai What you say is correct. But you need to take into account the terrain of Afghanistan was Russia's biggest problem. Also if you don't think our military looked at Russia's failures and developed new technologies to solve the problems you are kidding yourself. The Russians did not have our technology and we don't have Afghanistan's terrain. However I am in favor of being armed as best as civilians can be.

  • I always think about the same thing, theres no way we as individuals could fight off say an apache, they could take out a house, and everything in it... if anybody is debating on leaving the u.s., i;d suggest you make your move soon, bcuz if things keep going the way they are, that chance wont be there in a matter of months or even weeks..i pray that day never comes, god be with us all

  • Grow all of your food

  • NWO Our government can still kill you slowly. S510 and codex alimentarius I expose our government. youtube.com/watch?v=ccdrQRO-mHU&feature=related

  • You speak the truth man,the common sense approach will keep you alive. Civillians might flip you shit but you make several excellent points. People are stockpiling the artillery out of fear, which is what the powers that be want. They are gettin richer off panic buyers, "They" can fuck a fortress up with a predator drone. Some air force kid,at Norad, who is real good at Halo delivers a shitstorm with pinpoint precision. Fuckin technology....

  • @madashell66 exactly. artillery they will soon say you cant have. and if u refuse to hand it over u will be classed as a terroist/threat. and all this stuff us slaves buy is only to defend ourselves from eachother. we will mass murder eachother for survival whilst they watch from high places laughing with their pockets full from our panic buys! they make me sick!!!!

  • I even bought alot of #1 #1 1/2 and #2 traps, like hunting 24 / 7 without worrying about somebody shooting at you while you r in the woods! God Bless You

  • I think I'll stick with my AK

  • @johnboysmeg to kill small game like birds and rabbits? thats what he is saying here so i hope you are kidding

  • @MrYouKnowWho1975 maybe you should look at the rest of the comments on here.....no I'm not kidding, if you can only afford 2 guns you better make sure 1 of them can take down some bad mother fucker with body armor and a machine gun.....

maybe you should see if the zombie guy is kiddin! lol

  • @johnboysmeg agreed. if you can only afford 2 they would be FAR from my first choice also. but i would still find these "QUIET" bb guns helpful for small game not my AR-15 is what im getting at

  • what about the zombiessssssssss!!

  • no there arnt any helcopter stores around but russia is all for selling gunships.

  • Dude, this is kind of a joke. What the fuck is a pellet gun going to do?

  • @bored7661 i personally have eaten several squirrel that i killed with a .177 cal. pellet rifle

  • @sisseeboy That pellet rifle won't save you from a desperate looter with a fucking knife. Even a sharpened spoon would be a very formidable weapon in comparasion to your little pellet gun.

  • @bored7661 youre missing the point of my statement you ignorant prick. dont condescend me. what type of ak do you claim to have son. and akm aks ak47 ak74? or some other variant an slr mac90 or valmet perhaps. dont talk to me about smallarms . i can take care of my own.

  • @sisseeboy Hey asshole, when did I claim to have an AK? You are not cool with your fucking airguns. Your airguns are so lame that you might as well webcam yourself ejaculating into your own mouth, and put THAT on youtube instead. Bastard.

  • @bored7661 clearly you are confused dick head. this isnt my video for one. and the only thing i said was that ive eaten plenty of critters killed with my 117. on the other hand ive ruined little faggots like you bare handed. get a clue fuck stick. where do you live son maybe you could come over and i can show you what real firearms look like after i rub your face through the gravel.

  • @sisseeboy

Trying to act tough on the internet? Kind of pathetic. You can't refer to anyone as a confused dick head, when you are the one who got me confused with some random dumbass that claimed to have an ak. I live in South Florida, and I guarantee you won't do anything to me. You aren't the only one with guns. You talk like an inbred piece of trash, that lives in a trailer, and probably have a gut that sicks out further than your dick. Shove a bb gun up your ass, faggot.

  • Respond to this video... lol its no act son. and i never said i would use a weapon. i said i was gonna rub your face through the gravel. if you bother checking my page you would realize that i work as a union pipe fitter/ welder kiddo. i make more than your parents probably. why dont you go suck mommys tit lil man. and let me know when youre gonna be in bowling green i would love to meet you fool

  • @sisseeboy

You are a bald old guy, I probably bench press more than you. You might as well go fuck your dog, which it seems like you already do, based on your videos. Why are you typing like you are mentally retarded? Are you really that stupid?

Working as a union pipe fitter is probably the only job you can fucking do, besides flipping burgers at McDonalds. You do not make more than my parents, and never will. You are an idiot, have fun recording your dog eating its babies and posting it.

  • @bored7661 lol stop you're gonna make me cry. but seriously don your arbitrary denigration is unimpressive and honestly boring me. you have yet to form a reasonable argument against my initial comment. instead you just turn to arbitrary slander with no basis or reason behind it. you appear as a fool son. get your head out of your ass and reply to the original comment with a reasoned argument or you can take your own advice and suck yourself off on camera.

  • @bored7661 as too the ak i seem to have confused you with another fool comenting on this vid. again i point you too my original comment. simply commenting on the effectiveness of a pellet rifle for use as a means of killing food stocks dumbass. unless you are trying to attract attention to your position with smallarms fire. you know like a moron.

a pellet rifle or bow and arrow are silent death where as smallarms will attract others with smallarms, i.e. the government fool.

  • @bored7661 If you paid attention, he said that a handgun or shotgun would also be a good idea. He just said that the morons who are stockpiling assault rifles like they're going to take on the 1st division are going overboard and kidding themselves. Paranoia makes rednecks stupid.... er.

  • @projenna It's a little difficult to pay attention when you notice that the video is titled "The most important guns", and you notice that the video only has airguns that most children own. How can you take someone seriously, when they are talking about airguns?

  • @bored7661 The same way you can take anyone seriously when talking about this subject. It's mostly an academic exercise and crasster1 has some valid points. Low cost, quiet, useful, easily obtained and doesn't raise the ATF's eyebrows. Are the airguns perfect for all applications? Of course not, but crasster1 doesn't make that claim. Might not save you from a looter with a knife, but will put food on your table. What's more likely? Being attacked or being hungry?

  • @projenna amen. they are clearly a choice back up tool. for when youre not trying to draw fire to your home. but what ever if these fools want to shoot squirrel whit a squad automatic weapon so be it.

  • @projenna

I understand what you're saying, but most pellet rifles and bb guns such as these require a lot more accurate shot placement, just to kill the same things as a .22. Unless you are an amazingly accurate shooter though, you will not be able to kill much more than a small rabbit with these low-powered airguns. A .22 can drop larger things also, such as coyotes, stray dogs, and even people if need be.

  • @bored7661 And those are some valid counterpoints, but with 500 pellets for $5, you can get a lot of practice in. And if such a collapse had us in Cormac McCarthy's world for more than a year before order was restored, small game would probably be all that was left. Unless we start hunting each other, that is.

  • @projenna

500 rounds of .22 lr is only about $20. Much more power, and accuracy than either of those pellet rifles. It will still take small game just as well, actually better. A real .22 rifle will be more effective at any job than a pellet rifle. It will also be much more durable, as it has no rubber seals that need oiling, and no sensitive airtight compression chambers. The ONLY advantage a pellet rifle has over a .22 is the amount of sound. This is negligible, as a .22 is not very loud.

  • @bored7661 So a .22 is louder and more expensive. Can you really blame crasster1 for his choice? You have valid points but that doesn't negate crasster1's choice.

  • @projenna

His choice is OK, for small, small animals. The thing is, medium sized animals such as dogs, raccoons, opossums, and larger will not be phased by it. His pellet guns only serve one very small purpose, when the same purpose could be filled by a fishing rod, or a .22 rifle. My choice does not negate his, but which would you rather have, a .22 rifle or a fishing rod, or a couple airguns?

  • @bored7661 you are mistaken the muzzle velocity of a 22 long rifle is about 1050 fps. most modern single stroke 177 cal air rifles are approaching 1200 fps. many are made in 22 cal pellets aswell with similar muzzle velocities.

  • @sisseeboy

The air rifles that approach 1200 FPS in .177 are using pellets that weigh 5.9 grains. There are NO .22 pellet rifles that shoot over 1000 fps with any size pellet comparable to the real size of a .22 lr bullet. A .22lr bullet can go anywhere from 1200 to 1700 feet per second depending on the ammunition, and they weigh at LEAST 30 grains, if not 40, all the way to 60. Your comparasion is inaccurate, and you are flat out stupid.

  • @bored7661 agreed the the kinetics are not the same.

i never made claim that the impact energy was equal to the 22 long rifle though dick head. it is how ever very comparable to the 22 bb or cb shells that can be shot in town with a 22 long rifle chambered weapon. and by the way tech force makes a 22 pellet rifle that pushes 990 fps thats up there with the 22 match. with the exception of the bullet weight. putting the impact energy somewhere in the middle of the 22 lr and 22 bb or cb range.

  • @sisseeboy

I have seen and shot high-powered air rifles. They are loud enough to the point that you might as well be using a .22 with subsonics. The difference is that the .22 air rifle is going to cost a lot more, require more maintenance, and most likely be less accurate in wind, or even in general. Less power, less availability, and more sensitive parts, such as air pressure seals, which require more oiling and careful use, than a .22 rifle.

  • @bored7661 now you're talking reason. i must agree that with the cost of air rifles approaching that of fair quality 22s. im personally fond of rugers 1022. and with cb or bb caps they are as quiet as an air rifle. 22 sub sonic are easy enough to muffle. though getting caught with a suppressor could get ones ass in a jam with a quickness. then the only issue becomes the availability of ammunition in a police state. either way you should consider setting spring traps and snares.

  • @bored7661 because he is talking about eating dumbass. not killing stupid fucks like you.

  • really

  • wtf seriously? wow

  • Remember, the american people will do whatever brings food to the table. Also, in an economic collapse we will most not likely be fighting the military, but the drug cartel, and thugs, the gov. will probably not be knocking down out door

  • 22. is most important

  • ur a goof....

  • Comment removed

  • @latech1116 Some people will not care, they will only care about what the military has to offer, such as food, and shelter, alot may dessert their post, but others will stay and fight. The german people never thought that the military would be coming in their homes at night and kill "jew lovers", whats different now.

  • @latech1116 i understand your point though, it may be true, but the military WILL turn on its people, the President, whiever it may be, will be in control of it. The president already has its own private fighting force.

  • @latech1116 well, with all the young men fighting bs wars on foreign soil, and a lot of foreign nations training and stationed here, i don't think it would be our military that ends up doing the dirty work of rounding up dissenters. just a thought, i hope for the best but expect the worst. and i don't believe a gun would help. i'll be operating on the principles of stealth, although night vision and thermal goggles trump even that route. :( good luck brother and ty for your service.

  • Self defense firearms are not for fighting helicopters or the military. They are SELF DEFENSE guns for protecting yourself from criminals. The pellet guns are good ideas for hunting small game but they aren't even close to being adequate for home defense. I would recommend the pellet guns PLUS some self defense firearms such as a .45 ACP or 9mm.

  • i am one of the people who have gone all out on weaponry , for the simple fact that i DONT know how bad it would get and i would rather have them plenty than not enough ... and we would not be fighting our military , we would be defending our selfs from the crazy fucks that populate our country .. i have a 3 year old daughter and a wife that would be pretty much defenseless ... but if i have me and my immediate family and friends with my guns in there hands we would be able to defend our selfs

  • In my opinion, note "opinion" I would use a pellet gun, although I would also reccomend a .22 lr.

  • I agree with you that if going against the full potential of the government we wouldn't stand a chance, but the truth is that would never happen. If it came down to citizens vs. the government there are over 300 million people in the US and about 40% of these people own guns. So while the US military may have snipers shooting .50 cals from a helicopter, they do not have 120 million of these nice combos. So in reality you would do pretty well with an assault rifle.

  • Dream on buddy.

  • These are not unreasonable additions for squirrels and rabits ect. Don't forget a couple of wrist rocket sling shots.

  • you make some good points, but I would argue that deer and hogs will be out there for a long time. there are so many hogs in America and they reproduce at alarming rates. and they are yummy.

  • Good info, thanks. One thing about taking on the corrupt "government", you wouldn't go out & buy an Apache helicopter, you'd take theirs, if you knew how to fly it of course. Their dependence on the high technology will be their downfall. Look what happened to the Russians in Afghanistan & now our military is in the same boat. Just a thought...

  • A .22 rifle shooting CB caps is just as quiet as an air rifle and packs a whole lot more punch.

  • Crasster, These guys are idiots and have no idea what you are talking about, let em be and fend for themselves, I also teach this too for silent hunting, You don't want to give away your position and they don't understand that. I deal with ignorant people on my site too

  • If we were to go through a serious or epic event...you will need a broad range of food water weapons power and communication. This shit is not obtained over night...it takes time and money to prepare less you have silver spoon up you butt. But listen here people...the biggest thing we will need is for everyone to act as civilized Americans...not a bunch of freaking animals. REMEMBER DAMMIT..UNITED WE WILL STAND AS LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. That's KEY....

  • @carl16760

    I agree with you.

However, the criminal element out there will doubt try to take advantage of this situation.

Law abiding citizens will have to band together for mutual protection, and those who have the wherewithal must offer honest barter to those in need.

  • This is a very sne video. Not every one can or will take to the bush. Most folks need to learn how to survive in an urban enviornment. Have you looked into the sub-sonic .22 ammo? That's what I'm investigating right now. I feed a neighbor's cat because I'm looking at it as a possible protein source. I know that may seem offensive to some folks, but hey, if it come to the cat or me starving, guess who's eating tonioght. Great vid.

  • @001madmex

Storing food "on the hoof" is a good idea, however, cat is NOT on my menu.

Pot Belly Pigs, rabbits, and even goats, are considered pets in MANY cities and towns.

They are relatively easy to feed too.

  • @001madmex Your way of thinking sounds so insane and sick. Except that it is the truth that all of us will resort to eating things we have never thought we would to survive. You are just ahead of alot of people thinking into a survival situation before it happens unlike most folks that think nothing is wrong in the world we live in, and shtf will never happen. We are living in end times, except Jesus Christ as your personal savior and repent from sin if you havent done so allready. God bless

  • @efrey614

Friend, 1 buck and 3 does=a lot of meat at a cheap cost.

I seen meat rabbits the other day for sale for just $6 each.

Livestock is the key to survival(who knows exactly when our Lord shall return).

These rabbits maybe fed potato peels, cracked corn, old bread, nearly any garden vegetable, old lettuce turning bad, grass and weed clippings.

This makes them highly profitable for both country and city dwellers.

Do NOT wait for the dollar crash to happen to obtain them.....

  • the second leading cause of American deaths in Iraq are rpg's, i dont think there are too may 100millionars in iraq running around with rpg's and all those guys are militia and im pretty sure the leading cause are ied's and making a PIPE bomb is not that hard and dont quote me on this one because i have not checked it in a wile but im sure the third leading cause of deaths are sniper shots, theres a lot more people in America who have sniper rifles that the TINY country of Iraq

  • i watched this vid a couple days ago and i didn't watch it all the way through. calling people who you dont personally know, crazy is dismisize and bullshit. "FIGHTING OFF GOVERNMENTS WITH ALL THAT TECHNOLOGY IS A PIPE DREAM"?? thats the dumbest thing iv ever heard in my life the people in Afghanistan have been doing a pretty good job for almost a decade and the people of iraq have cost us nearly a trillion dollars thats prob for both wars "who can make war with a beast" wow have some faith

  • the hog will never be wiped out but alot of people will be in the first couple of months . But if it does get bad people will eat each other I hope you have real guns . If it did happen alot of the military will go with the people not the gov

  • pellet guns are ok for killing small birds like quail when i was little i shot a lot of quail with my redryder. but your gonna be better off with a 22.LR your not going to be able to get close enough to kill varmint with a bbgun and 22 ammo pretty cheap.

  • Yeah is small scale stuff. What is going to protect you from (for sake of argument) a man with a .44 mag and 12 gauge maybe an ak47? yeah helicopters will atomize me? get off drugs a think a bit

  • i have both of those guns =D

  • I also have a few pellet guns in my survival gear, they can kill most small game

  • trapping small game can be effective and sustainable... bb guns are fairly quiet and you will want to keep your position hidden. (no need to attract unwanted attention) so they have that benefeit...crossbow's would be another silent killer plus they could offer some big game opportunities but limited for protection..probably better carry the burden of something besides bb guns for protection, chances are in an economic collapse you will need it. just my thoughts on how i will approach it

  • I look at my guns like this: some are for self-defense/home protection and can double for survival hunting, and then others are strictly for procuring food/practice, recreation, etc. .22s and pellet guns are great for procuring smaller game. My home defense guns are either a shotgun (hard hitting) or an AR (multiple "raiders," etc.). If you want to fight against tyranny I'd recommend an AR or AK, a DMR or Sniper-type rifle, and learning how to make improvised explosives. That will be nothing but

  • @wcropp1 guerrilla-style asymetric warfare as "they" will likely have more numbers and better weapons. Trying to engage in offensive CQC will most likely get you killed, by the air raid called in if not the people you were fighting.

  • Pretty interesting idea. And I expect that there is a lot of truth in the idea that a small weapon could gather small game effectively.

  • I see your point!!

  • 2 words avtomat kalashnikov preferably in model 47 also mosin nagants are the cheapest bolt action available and they also shoot cheap ammo that would take out a man or large animal at a distance cause shooting only to defend yourself is foolish u dont see people in the armed forces wanting to fight someone at point blank or even close range much less in ur house sometimes u need to go on the offensive for ur own sake

  • A 22 cal rifle is way better for small game, ammo is still fairly cheap and not that loud, especially with subsonic rounds. I am not a fan of shotguns personally unless you are hunting birds on the wing. No harm in having a pellet gun as well, but nothing I would rely on for survival if I had a choice.

  • I see your point, but I would include some regular guns as well. .22 rifle with scope, 30.06 or other cal deer rifle with scope and .40 or .45 cal pistol. Top that off with an AK and lots of cheap ammo for it, and then you should have weapons covered. My dad was a WWII vet; his advice was "they have to get out of those tanks sooner or later" . He was a minimalist with weapons though. He said to get your weapons from the enemy, engaging Guerrilla style.

  • 30.06 or go home. Your pellet gun will only piss me off. Don't move at night, the pigs all have night vision and active infra red scopes. Watch the youtube Iraq videos. Seems like the reason we are in Iraq is to train our pawns to kill civilians.

  • Smart move with any pellet gun for the future, no matter what you have or where you are; it is timeless logic. Lewis and Clark carried a pellet gun with them on their long "Core of Discovery" trek and the gun saved their life many times as having a gun to get small game without making massive amount of noise that a rifle or conventional firearm made was brilliant and sustaining.

  • I agree with you crasster1. If food gets scarce, you are not going to be the only one in the woods looking for deer. You will be competing with many other hunters who may snipe you to get the deer you just bagged, ever thought of that! But... A Pellet gun is silent, deadly and will feed your family without a loud bang alerting everyone.

As for taking on the government, good luck. They wont come door to door with rifles. They could just as easily sit in a tank and microwave you from 100yds away.
