  • it's just as he said it: "we need new tactics".

take ur time to find out UR tactic and then go find urself an army of minds.

best without any violence...just be rebellious and don't take any shit.

    go ahead mate. now.

  • maybe not wars with guns, but we would just evolve again, use sticks, stones, then some clever fellow will combine the two, spears, ect,

it's somthing that we can't stop, and it's a shame we can't stop it.

  • A VERY VERY TALENTED MAN

  • Well thanks for the message Jamie T..... It is Jamie T isn't it? Sorry or is it Mike Skinner? arrghh now I'm not sure, are you Lily Allen? You sure sound like it... Now with 3 years hindsight, would you say you done a good job cock-er-ney boy? Coz you've sure made a difference haven't you Bono?

  • I like The King Blues but what he said about Arms Factories and War is bull shit.

  • nice to see stuff like this. Political music always wins. I like the ounk references in his other songs too :D

  • Whatta message <3

  • WOO banquet records kingston (H)

  • Anarchy is back its all hank to the King Blue fuck yes!

  • think about it! he wrecks the factory, the factory have topay for repair work and subsequently raise bomb prices, Government afford to buy less, less innocent people dead

  • "i'm a twenty som-. fuck. mother earth is begging you to quit" haha this is so good.

  • he got me at PROTEST!

  • lol he's so cutee, and i agree with laycock2006. i'd much rather meet him than any other celebrity.

well i have met itch. but that's not the point.

the point is the king blues are absolutly amazing, and deserve all the publicity they get. if there were more people like itch in the world and more bands like the king blues then the world would be a lot better place.

  • brilliant performance of an amazing song.

    up the king blues

  • woop go Brighton :D

  • Bwytan xD

  • What is your point? he got the wrong verse once. He could have continued, and people would have been like wtf is he doing. but no, he recovered from it.

And he aint a twat. I'd choose meeting itch over meeting ben stiller, or jim carey

  • I cant believe i wondered, for a second, why this wasn't on the news

  • why wasnt it??

  • cuz they dont want the whole country knowing about there huge bomb factories!

  • as ghandi once tried to demonstrate

meet violence with peaceful protests; it will work.

    patience & peace

  • it's too late for that. gotta be active man

  • marry me Itch!! . . . x

    =]

  • If you want to slove problems in the world you aint going to win through violent means that just gives the system new ways to enslave peole even more. The only way is through civil disobedience Gandhis way and Martin Luther kings way. It may seem the long way around but we aint learning anything new by violence meeting violence. We have a right to be angry, but lets use it in a more construtive and creative way. Truth of who we really are will topple those in power.

  • So what?

Sit back idley as a pointless war is going on?

Why should our troops, and America's troops have to police the world? Yeah, maybe it is out responsibility to help out other countrys to keep peace, but its gone way too far. Our government is too afraid to admit it was wrong, and would rather let more people die than admit they were wrong. As he said, Without any arms, they're no wars.

    [continued in next comment...]

  • Civil disobidience is all good and well, but it takes time, and in our situation time equals lives. And quite frankly, a bit of violence is better than deaths, action needs to be taken, now. So far on this 'counterterror' war, about 1,220,600 people have died. And its constantly growing. The sooner we stop this war, the sooner the deaths stop, this isnt about taking the moral high ground, its about every individual person that dies, and the people it effects.

    [continued...]

  • Anyone would take violent actions to stop the ones the loved and cared about the most from becoming "Collateral Damage".

    peace x

  • ' a bit of violence as you say is better than deaths' what is this controlled violence? You are playing right into the systems hands by meeting violence with violence and those fuckers in power aint stupid this is exactly what they want people to do.

  • But tbh, there is a big difference between smashing up a bomb factory, and boming a country.

    x

  • It is a big difference, however it is the same level of energy ferquency that is being demostrated by both sides when its the use of violence. Which leads to blindness.

  • he is so beautiful

  • Smash EDO...bastard bomb maker fools.

  • aww this dudes well cute xD

    love the king bluesss :)

  • Oh damn straight atleast they're not sitting idley by while our country goes down the pan, but i believe they're giving out the wrong message with the whole "vandalise your way to freedom" persona.

  • hmm, i deffinetly see where your coming from it does seem a bit surface level, but would you rather nothing than this?

i know it is a bit silly the whole - no weapons, no wars statement, but i think a protest doesn't just mean what they're doing - destroying a bomb factory won't slow down a war at all. but getting 500 people together to show that someone still gives a fuck about what our government's trying, definitively makes a pause for thought.

  • I disagree. I think its a bit dangerous to say "destroying a bomb factory won't slow down a war"... yeah it will!

Fuck up the factories as much as you can.

  • i live between brighton and london.east grinstead.but i like this kids noise.:)

  • King blues are a great band. but what he is on about protesting is just nonsense. Doing what he did will not stop wars, its stupid to think that vandalism and protesting will do anything. Putting all your thoughts, actions and energy into something bad (weather you are for or against it) wont solve anything.

"I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there" Mother Teresa

  • i'm a 20.. FUCK xD

    king blues for the winnnnn!

  • King Blues you are the winners! Big up Kiwi who's reppin their new Vid!

  • Hhaha, "Briiiiighton"

    Loved it :)

  • That was an ITCH quote

  • i hope this is the album version, or he releases it, because it sounds so much nicer

  • I don't think it is the album version. The rest of the band are in it too obviously. I personally prefer the album version. If you go on their myspace and check album sampler 2 it's in there at 1:54

  • does anyone know the chords he plays in this song?

  • samholdsworth..i hear what your sayin but the point is no arms full stop..nit just the UK.

as for people who make money writin and performin there music?? good for them. that includes bubblegum pop bands who stand for nothin and sing meaningles nonsense. if people wanna buy it and they make a nice livin from it then who's the ass??

the fact is these guys write about things that we should actually give a shit about. im quite happy payin good money for good music..whatever the record label.

  • I don't think i'll ever understand why the fact that musicians make money pisses people off so much. I have no idea how much money The King Blues make but so what if they make piles of cash? So what if they're on a major label? It doesn't change a fucking thing. They still have the right to have a political message like everyone else does. Money can't change common sense. The King Blues ain't done nothing wrong but make a bit of money and I don't see why that bothers you.

  • thanks :D

  • his music gives the silent majority a voice n is just a sick to be honest. shut up n let the guy play.

  • Dragonskankin.. I justify their reasons for signing to a major label.

This says it all for me :

I think that Marving Gaye changed more with Whats Going On then Crass did with Feeding Of The 5000. Not to say anything against underground bands, theres definitely a place for it, but its not how I want to be remembered, I dont want this band to be pearly white and innocent, I want it to actually make a difference.

  • this is getting out of hand, i like the king blues i been a fan since they first came out but what im saying is that more often than not when a band moves to a major label the original sound and message is compromised and i dont want that to happen to the king blues

  • Well they havent changed much of their sound have they.

  • im saying nothing untill i here the full album

banned from the roxy ok i never much liked playing there anyway said they only wanted well behaved boys do they think guitars and microphones are just fucking toys fuck em chosen to make my stand against what i feel is wrong with this land

  • I dont have a clue about what u jst said

  • then i guess your quote is true

marvin gaye changed more with whats going on than crass did with feeding of the 5000

for shame greendayidiot13 you should know your history

  • quoted Banned From The Roxy, by Crass....underground punk band..

  • Hear*

  • i beleive in no war completely but what if another country invades us when we have no arms, are why not fucked then? i mean its an invitation aint it? im not tryin to out smart anyone, all im askin for is, is for someones opinion on this point and how this could be prevented? thanks just curious.

  • I think their message is to stop arms completely.

    Worldwide.

protesting against a nationwide arms company is just a small step.

The bigger message is no to all arms.

    Cheers

  • :D yaay
