ok this shit is so fucking fake . my dad lived in one of those fucking houses . they did not take off its just that the houses began to become unstable . soon after they knocked all the houses down and plants grew . nothing scary . none of its true . my dad told me the whole story . there are nothing like murders and no rumors .
the weird part is the windows ... what is explanation 4 that....i mean if everyone left so abruptly..who was it that discovered the abandonedness and borded up and and took time to paint shades lol..
This little town was called New Town. I was told by my mother and father that we had alot of family that used to live there. The left because of the Newark Watershed.
It's 11/09/09 its 11:02 PM I Just came back from demon's alley. Let me remind you is tresspassing do not attemp.
The 3rd green house next to the one that burned down in 2000 had the attic light on. Didnt go In to check but so you guys know if you are gonna attemp to visit this place. Watch out theres deffinitly people lurking around.
i like by that. and its not that scary in the day but if you drive by it now there are no more houses and its jsut really werid. and.... idk just different. but when you get out of the car and start walking you deff feel like someone is watching you and want to get back in the car and just drive away
you get that feeling in any deserted place... its just the natural fight or flight reaction humans have best thing to do it just ignore it and enjoy the rush :D
Man,How memories fade,,I dont wanna burst your bubbles,,but the families were forced out by Newark watershed,,they couldnt directly evict them.Like they tried in the ringwood mine areas,,,but-thats all it was,,,The government stealing property.I knew a girl who still lived there in the early 90's
So all the houses are gone now??? I've always been facinated with Demon's Alley. Such a strange story. I'd love to find out the truth of why everyone just up and left.
The village isn't there anymore (as nexongamecard thought) Unfortunately some of the houses burned down and I believe the others were demolished. I have pictures of the place when I went, but never left the car. (Newark Water Department or something similar owns it,and patrols it) I remember there use to be a blue tarp covering one of the roofs too. Road was a pretty horrible road, but it wasn't that desolate, cars used it to cut through to Route 23.
That is a really COOL video! I was very fortunate to have visited and photographed Demon's Alley just a few weeks before they demolished the remaining houses!
The guy in the blue shirt is so stoned. Or something? Definitely something.

i hate how the dont let anyone go to ghost towns, like wtf i want a full explanation why its illegal
Julian24151 1 year ago
@Julian24151 safety ,most are dangerous and falling apart... its owned by someone so they dont want ppl living free of charge.. and of vandalism..
but i agree it oes suck to be arrested for curiosity
arlichar11 1 year ago
@arlichar11 Yea i think if their gonna be that strict about it than they should at least just supervise the visit...not totally blockade it

in demons alley you mean? Should imagine not as long as you aren't entering the houses...that's prolly classed as tresspassing.
