    soy tenor ( 9 años en teatro) y le puedo solo decir una cosa...el tiempo cambia y nosotros tambien...

    Este muchacho, por lo visto tiene casi la misma technica de canto ( muy parecida con su preferido A. Kraus) mirale Ud. la gesticulacion, tipo de respiracion, como vocaliza vocales etc...y despues diga como le parece el cantane....si esta Ud mejor que el, demuestralo. Yo no tengo miendo...en buscador ponle RACONKAJ

  • The only statements true are the ones that are concrete; i.e. the shortage of air at some places. This is definitely due to nerves, not ability. No one would sing that aria, in a competition to boot, without normally being able to sustain the phrases. He looks relatively young and has a lot to prove - He did a great job under such circumstances.

    Operatics critique about his voice; imo incorrect - the vibrato is perfectly fine. it's a lyric voice singing tenderly and it's def. not too dark.

  • Fuck, there are some harsh critics on You Tube. Not one nice word from some and all bad stuff....sheesh!

    I thought he was good! It's a bitch of an aria and personally I prefer a bit of a fuller sound, not the feminine almost full falsetto sound that a lot of tenors employ for this aria!

  • PD: si quieren escuchar una buena version del aria de los pescadores de perlas ademas de la de alfred krauss les recomiendo la de tenghiz zaalishvili no se la pierdan!!

  • no esta mal es un tenor joven y puede mejorar su performance solo tiene que sacar la voz mas a la mascara como en la tecnica italiana, que gracioso krauss "español" con su tecnica "italiana" y que es el mejor interprete de esta aria de opera "francesa" paradojico.

  • A voice too dark for this aria and his molto vibrato is already noticeable due to a not very good vocal capacity and technique.His Legato is just ok , but not enough for this ¨gem¨, harsh when says RAMI..ERRR... out of breath when says RAVIS..SEMENT (cutting the word).Due to a very rough singing for this particular aria about to tear when says.. EENTR'ouvrir ..straining the whole expression Entr'ouvrir ses longs voileSS..Falseto voice at the end.

  • You are entitled to think what you will of his timbre and interpretation, but his vocal talent is undisputable.

    I can't for the life of me understand how you can call his singing "harsh" in any way - he has one of the most velvety voices i have heard.

    His timbre is not dark by any means. In that case, you're confusing darkness with fullness.

    He sings light lyric reperoire, and btw his vibrato is perfectly fine - a fast, even vibrato is rather a proof of good technique that the opposite.

  • canta muy bien, y correcto como debe ser, con voz de cabeza, y no falsete con alguien que no sabe de canto ha escrito por alli.

    la partitura original dice que debe ser cantada con voz de cabeza.

  • Es bello como figura, y su timbre es como el de Palacido cuando comenzo, creo que tendremos una estella luminosa en la lirica por muchos años.

  • This version is really raffinate.I'd say that's the best version i've heard but i won't for the respect of maestro kraus but this tenor gained the right sweetness in full voice ( without falsetto) that this aria required. great
