Beautiful footage! But please, please don't turn over rocks and bash them against one another to attract gropers. That's actually destroying the natural marine habitat :( More so, it scares the sea creatures away (the sound vibrates through the water).
Incredible video guys!! Very impressed with the wide selection of fish as well as the way the video was edited and put together. Kudos. Out of interest, what video editing tool did you use? Cheers.
@Koalafis Thanks for that! Keep up the good work.....your video actually inspired me to upload my first fully edited snorkel video from Shelly Beach and Cabbage Tree Bay. Check it out under my profile if you have a spare moment. Cheers again.
Great footage of the Moorish Idol. I wonder if it over wintered in Sydney seeing it is of adult size? Have you ever seen Angelfish on your dives in Syd?
Thanks. The Moorish Idol lives in Clovelly, and I think this particular footage is from May. Not sure if we have seen any Angelfish in the area, but there are several different types so perhaps we have ;-)
That's the Eastern Blue Groper, a very friendly and curious fish. Our favorite! Make sure to check our other videos as Bluey is in almost every video :)
Great video!! I love Clovelly! I did a night snorkelling last time in October, but pretty much nothing down there.
Is Nov still to cold to catch those little sharks? and btw, stingaree is not deadly??

Thanks, mate :) Sydney is a very nice place to snorkel and dive, not as exotic as the Great Barrier Reef, but still pretty awesome.
Most of our videos are made with Windows Movie Maker, a simplified and easy tool for basic editing.
