I like this guy and his bands.. but sometimes I think he should go even harder.. when he starts to build the songs up (like with desperation on his voice and drums) towards a crescendo that never comes.. Though I guess that's what makes him unique though, he trully is genuine southern (U.S.) in his expression.. What I love in bout this guy is that he sings his heart out, and that he sings about Christ, as I also know him as my saviour! keep on David! Keep on making hymns like David d King!
I don't care for religious lyrics much either. I do have much respect for his lyrics though. They are always poetically beautiful. The rest of the Christian music world should be taking notes.
very nice... what is mind blowing is that i heard of this band from an interview with the frontman from Marduk, the guy is a huge fan... for those that don't know Marduk is a Satanic black metal band.
They tend to cross barriers like that... Talent aside, I think it's David's honesty. I myself am not a christian and tend to have contempt towards hypocrites, but I feel that he's really serious about what he sings. Not that he's a perfect little saint, but there's a certain pervading honesty to his music. I've even considered braving the hideousness of the Cornerstone music festival to hear him play, maybe next time... :]
Wish the quality of tone and picture weren' so bad
