AH was great, but he ruin the war in the east. he gave up on Moscow, and after getting the breadbasket of Ukraine, he tried for the oil further south. Stalingrad was huge mistake of no military importance. so many good germans died there for nothing. why AH got fixed on that city is beyond me.
