hate blind jumps sux not being able to c the landing specialy wen its a 30 meter jump o and just mention corections like wen the bike falls back pull clutch and hit back brake REMEMBER clutch stall = K.O and wen it falls forward rev!!! note clutch only on 4 stroke 2 strokes dont realy stall
it really depends on the jump and the speed you're traveling at. Like Mikey said in the video, start small and slow and work your way up. If you're not quite making it, then either you need more speed or not try and do the double until you have the confidence and momentum you need. perhaps try a smaller double. Getting a more experienced rider or coach to critique your style and help you along the way is a good idea too.
I know how to jump but I have trouble choosing Wat gear I should be in..like at my track there is a flat sand turn to a double..I tried 2nd almost made it and I tried 3rd..btw this is on my 2011 Kawasaki kx250 I think I need a smaller rear sprocket..I have a 50 on the back I think I need a 48
@Sernasie905 : Why ask questions you already know the answer to? You sound like one of those couch motocross riders that get pissed at these guys because your'e jealous!
@TheKawasakidude Gravity is always on the bike. When you panic rev, the back wheel instantly spins rapidly, cutting through air and pushing itself towards the ground.
@SimulationCharacter1 It has nothing to do with air I don't think. It puts the spin on the rear tire and causes the gyro effect thus pulling the front end of the bike up.
why the heck are all these instructional videos australian??
thank you australia for your words of wisdom btw!

@kelb53 i always thought it was the torque pulling the front end up when you throttle up in the air

@SimulationCharacter1 thats what i said but you just detailed it

@SimulationCharacter1 Um, no, not quite how it works but an interesting theory. Google "Gyro effect" :)

Or using the rear brake/throttle while in the air to level the bike out, scrubs, whips, jumping sitting down... He left out a lot.
