Load of CRAP, I bought one of these from Ideal World TV Shopping a few days ago THERE IS NO BLUE TOOTH CONNECTION FOR A PHONE so its going back, and the live update service is to expensive at £7 odd a month or £80 a year that I would have to pay after the 12 months of free updates runs out, NO THANKS the only thing I like about it is the motorway lane guidance, so I will be sticking to my old XL-ONE.
That's a great review to see some of the functions. If the traffic is up-to-date plus gas prices, then I'd be very interested. I purchased the XL340M so I get map updates free. Per reviews on Amazon, I heard live traffic isn't great though, at least in enough major US areas to make me not too keen on that function at the moment.
I didn't know the google search with phone number pops up. I hope that comes with the 340M model. Thanks for the feature presentation. Very helpful!
i have a Garmin 1490T and mainly use it mainland Europe, i feel TomTom is window dressing the TomTom, friend of mine used a TomTom and it was complete hopeless and countless times sent in to dead end roads, and while he was using his TomTom, it decided to die, i not trust TomTom if they was giving them away for free,
Yes but tomtom live traffic is only free for 3 month then you need to pay every month is not free. my garmin nuvi 265wt has lifetime traffic report. but i which it had IQ like the tom tom but I'll stick to my garmin.

@SUPERSS90 - lol how can you compare your traffic report with tomtom live traffic!
do some research, live traffic updates every 3 minutes, covers 96% of roads.
what you have is an rds tmc traffic reciver, covers only 50% of roads and only main roads. the same reciver for other tomtom models as an add on.
