Sprint phones don't have a user removable Sim card. Also, Micro SD is most certainly NOT a SIM card. Sim cards are memory chips programmed by phone companies to give you access to their networks. Micro SD cards let a user store music/images/ect.

When ever you soak electronics you should always let them dry out for a week without power it on (and remove the battery while it slowly dries out on the inside).
You turned it on, and you could have fried something in it, or the unit could have been damaged while being washed. I'd say wait a little while and re-test it, but its very likely ruined, sorry dude. However, Might I suggest getting the new Katana DLX, so much better the Katana II.

I think you'll be happy, the only thing better is an iPhone or a smartphone, which cost a lot more. As far a Sprint's network, I've been really happy, the service is GREAT. I don't think I've been anywhere where I don't have a signal.

i have this phone, it absolutly sucks! the internet is slow as hell the camera sucks the reception is ok i guess dont get much dropped calls but the sound quality is horrible, cant do anything with the bluetooth, scratches easily flips open horribly no mp3, no video and extremly hard to use i recomend something else, cuz sprint is great but this phone sucks
Man I have this phone and I'm a bit...well, quite disappointed. Mainly due to the fact that is not very accessible, I can't record sounds to use as ringtones, i can't do video and apparently it doesn't have an USB jack to upload sounds onto it. The camera is decent but then again I'd love to have video.
