DS9 referenced the fact that Colm Meaney usually plays villains in his non-Star Trek work. I cant remember the episode but its before they go to the holosuite and are deciding who they're going to be, O'Brian complains that he always plays the bad guy and Bashir responds 'because you do it so well'. And thats damn straight, Colm Meaney can be fucking scary, the fact that he plays the good husband/father so well on Star Trek just proves what a good actor he is.
I should not have watched this in a cofffee shop, because I freaking lost it when he started yelling "Red Alert". I'm sure the starbucks barista think I'm nuts now....
I love the "JESUS CHRIST!!" part in the TNG Recuts when the kid pukes in his lap haha.

Has anyone else ever noticed that at some point in every Colm Meaney role, he has his sleeves rolled up on screen?

@vipergtsrgt1 means he's a man of action, not some pansy!

I think Colm Meaney would be the perfect actor to play O'Brian in an adaption of Orwell's 1984.

@Funaru It's silly, I admit, but I kept seeing him as O'Brian when I originally read 1984.

That womans reaction is the same as Troi's after he yells Jesus Christ. Nice little nod to the movie.
