men have nipples because we are all female (women's eggs have XX -or all female)and it is not until a male possible introduces a Y chromosome that males become differentiated females, so to speak.
-Ive been watching all your vids this weekend.
- awesome job!!
thank you/
I love Poe as well, -and Coleridge is pretty great as well.
"Where The Wild Things Are" - Oh boy, am I looking forward to that one! To go by the trailer it'll be just as beautiful as the book: watch?v=DNy1yv_BYHU Another urgent question, of course, is "Where is the what if the what is in why?" watch?v=jlQSVsq3NLE Really obvious is the answer to "What's the best way to procrastinate?" - Watching your videos! :-)
When my boss needs to fly to Gulfport, Mississippi to aid Hurricane Katrina victims, Google is a good place for finding a place for him to stay and for finding directions from the airport to the hotel to his client to the courthouse.
I think if you go to Google and click the 'preferences' button on the right next to the search box you can select an option to display Query Suggestions - then they should appear :)
In the 60's TV series, The Prisoner, the protagonist, Number 6, asks their computer, "Why?" and it short circuits.
Maybe I'm asking it wrong, but if you asked Google, "What is the ultimate answer to life the universe and everything?" You'd get the answer "42" -- from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
P.S. Thanks a lot for giving me a new way to waste time. ;)
I did something different with Google; I have iGoogle, and I got a translator add-on thing for the page, since I have a friend that posts in German sometimes on Twitter.
Sometimes the translations weren't very clear. I found out that the translator was inaccurate by translating something to and from a language with it.
Try posting a somewhat elaborate sentence in it and see what it gives you back. Sometimes it can be pretty funny!
Very thought provoking, and entertaining of course now I am going to have to spend a while at Google and try it out instead of housework, procrastination for the win!
Hi Jen. I heard that Journalism students are taught to answer much the same questions when reporting on any story. Your Video gave me the idea to see if the most popular search answers could be linked together to form the most popular and interesting of all possible stories! But: "How-to tie a tie." "Why-is the sky blue?" "What- is Twitter" ... Unfortunately the concept doesn't work. The answers are all random, and even mundane. Oh well! : )
It seeks to reassure on specific issues through the experience of millions of people from the web there are always people on the same problem as you. It is interesting to share solutions. Google is in extraordinary tool. :-)
I often take having the world's knowledge at my fingertips for granted, it's funny to think how we've only had it available to us for the last couple decades!
Yes! I'm just at that cutoff age, when I remember the world before PC's and Cell phones. Has access to unlimited information changed our lives dramatically? Surprisingly, no. : )
The key must be not in having access to knowledge, but rather, knowing how to use knowledge intelligently. You may have a huge dictionary on your lap, but which is the right word you are looking for? That is the problem still. : )
Hehe, Clever slant on a theme. Use only common mis-spellings and abbreviations instead. That would tap into a whole new demographic, wouldn't it? And a scary one at that! : )
Through the magic info of the big G, I had an amazing revelation of ROSS 154 and how an imaginary powerfull telescope on ROSS 154 when trained towards Earth would give us a view of the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, at this very moment!
I love doing this! It reminds me of something my friends and I do sometimes called the "is" game. Same concept, but type in "[something] is " in google and see what comes up.
You're not gonna believe this, but the Google engine has real wisdom, because when I put in the word "why" in Finnish, the first result was: "Why Facebook?" Yeah, good question :P
Also, I could see your idea being used by writers in a creative rut, because you get the most random ideas. See for example, the no.1 result with "what": "What is that thing sticking out of your ear?"
Imagine typing in a Google search keyword and the top response is: "Why do you want to know?" If that happened, in real life, then who are you talking to? hehe! Ok, I'll stop now..I think I just scared myself! ; )
What a clever idea for a video! You made me think of a comparison to the Statistical Idea of an Average Value in a Population. The average value is used to "represent" the population where there may be wide variation above and below. Here's an idea: Can the most popular answer to each query be used as a response of combined or global intelligence? A primitive conversation, with a primative brain made up of millions of contributors? Each person like one nerve in the brain of a real person?
Most of them seem to be born out of avoiding doing what I should be doing (i.e. studying/working). Also my mind seems infinitely fascinated with everything and also easily distracted, hehe
It's very Midnight Oil, with Blue Sky, How do you Sleep While Your Beds Are Burning. Although there wasn't how to cure baldness, what has Peter Garret ever done for the environment since being a Minister and so on. But that's all Australian stuff. It is interesting how google finds things on search Engines. On YouTube lately, the search engine within sometimes show what they want you to see rather than accurately match the words you use. That is annoying. Blessings FLETCHER
I love this concept-when I was a teenager this was impossible and irrelevent! What an 'On The Pulse' tool google is! I have checked out holiday dates myself, but never asked google why I got married-thats a much more personal disaster lol!
Terrorists 'where does the VP live' so they'll know where the 'secret' bunker is!
I hear some film names in there.
Historians in this day and age should really be noting this stuff!!!
I have often thought about what a fascinating resource internet archives will be for future historians - and yet I guess the skill will lie on sifting effectively through the mass of information, hehe!
Indeed! I always loved history but was put off studyinbg it because there's just too damn much! now there is unlimited versions from unlimited sources. . . CHAOS!!! hahahahaha!
Where si the button to post comment on youtube...Oh...here it is.

Darn! I tried this whole google thing today and the queries are pretty much the same still but here are a few of the newer ones:
Why- did Michael Jackson turn white?
When- will the world end?
Who- won American idol 2009?
Where- can I watch free movies online?
What- are there strawberries doing on my nipples I need them for my fruit salad? (wow. really? wow.)
How- did billy Mays die?

And the Sky is blue because of atmospherical light reflections.
But that's enough of beeing a smartarse for today ;)
