Darn! I tried this whole google thing today and the queries are pretty much the same still but here are a few of the newer ones:

I think if you go to Google and click the 'preferences' button on the right next to the search box you can select an option to display Query Suggestions - then they should appear :)

Maybe I'm asking it wrong, but if you asked Google, "What is the ultimate answer to life the universe and everything?" You'd get the answer "42" -- from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I did something different with Google; I have iGoogle, and I got a translator add-on thing for the page, since I have a friend that posts in German sometimes on Twitter.

Sometimes the translations weren't very clear. I found out that the translator was inaccurate by translating something to and from a language with it.

Try posting a somewhat elaborate sentence in it and see what it gives you back. Sometimes it can be pretty funny!

Hi Jen. I heard that Journalism students are taught to answer much the same questions when reporting on any story. Your Video gave me the idea to see if the most popular search answers could be linked together to form the most popular and interesting  of all possible stories! But: "How-to tie a tie." "Why-is the sky blue?" "What- is Twitter" ... Unfortunately the concept doesn't work. The answers are all random, and even mundane. Oh well! : )

Yes! I'm just at that cutoff age, when I remember the world before PC's and Cell phones. Has access to unlimited information changed our lives dramatically? Surprisingly, no. : )

The key must be not in having access to knowledge, but rather, knowing how to use knowledge intelligently. You may have a huge dictionary on your lap, but which is the right word you are looking for? That is the problem still. : )

I love doing this! It reminds me of something my friends and I do sometimes called the "is" game. Same concept, but type in "[something] is " in google and see what comes up.

If you do "google is" some of the results are:

"google is your friend"

"google is making us stupid"

and my favorite:

"google is skynet"

You're not gonna believe this, but the Google engine has real wisdom, because when I put in the word "why" in Finnish, the first result was: "Why Facebook?" Yeah, good question :P

Also, I could see your idea being used by writers in a creative rut, because you get the most random ideas. See for example, the no.1 result with "what": "What is that thing sticking out of your ear?"

What a clever idea for a video! You made me think of a comparison to the Statistical Idea of an Average Value in a Population. The average value is used to "represent" the population where there may be wide variation above and below. Here's an idea: Can the most popular answer to each query be used as a response of combined or global intelligence? A primitive conversation, with a primative brain made up of millions of contributors? Each person like one nerve in the brain of a real person?

It's very Midnight Oil, with Blue Sky, How do you Sleep While Your Beds Are Burning. Although there wasn't how to cure baldness, what has Peter Garret ever done for the environment since being a Minister and so on. But that's all Australian stuff. It is interesting how google finds things on search Engines. On YouTube lately, the search engine within sometimes show what they want you to see rather than accurately match the words you use.
