@jimbopetrella I'm just wondering why you would say this? I agree that all are incredible bass players, but have you really listened to Geezer's bass playing? The man was, in his own right, an amazing bass player. Plus, like all the bassists you mentioned, he played with his fingers, not a pick. Just like guitarists, singers, drummers, etc.....without Geezer Butler, many of these bassists would not be bassists! He was an influence on every single bassist you mentioned. Check it out brother!

@johnydafox 100% agree. It is not the maybe better technical abilities someone can have but as Steve Harris, Geezer ist one of the few really harmonic bass players in the world. His lines fit perfectly to the music and the vocal lines. Guitar and Singing fly over his riffs!
