I thought havng this song at Whitney's service was great. It was a great challenge to the world. But to make it a message about "Who wants to be poor?" He made it sound as if you obey God you get a purple cadillac and good health. God never said that. Even in this video it's about him showboating, not glorifying GOD. A shame.
I cannot agree more a man of God a pastor at a funeral and took the time to act as if he and his siblings were auditioning. Shame on him this was Whitney's day. Many are called but few are chosen. Yet people point fingers at Whitney it is "men of God" like these who keep people away from church.
I enjoyed the service up until the end. I think Rev Winans used the exposure for his own benefit. He called his entire family to the podium for no other reason than to be seen. And Prioritize was more of a sermon than a eulogy, not once did he mention Whitney during it. Then it was too long . I think he spoiled the ending. It looked like when they got a chance to cut him off they did, he used around 45minutes. It just looked rushed at the end to me.
Always have been a cool song. Yea, it was a beautiful homegoing for Whitney Houston. They should have treated Bobby Brown better though, ex-wife or not. They have a child together for Pete's sake. My ex-wife did better by me when her mom passed, called me and told me she passed and telling me where the wake was.
THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL HOMEGOING SERVICE!!! I CRIED ALL THE WAY THROUGH!! THE WINANS DID A WONDERFUL TRIBUTE WITH THIS SONG, TYLER P, KEVIN COSTNER AND BE BE AND CE CE'S STORY ABOUT HER CLOSET!!
@EmanVenus No one is promised tomorrow. We really went to CHUCH today and it really made me do some serious thinking. Bro/Sis we need to get our priorities in order for tomorrow may be to late. Hotep
I kicked a 21yr heroin habit. My big brother was murdered. My little brother and big sister committed suicide seperately. Praise God Ciao Whitney
I had no idea Marvin had a twin or that he could sing like this. A beautiful falsetto gets me every time. Their participation at Whitney's funeral so touched my heart. Rest in Peace, Whitney.
I was watching the Whitney Houston Going Home Celebration. I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the song that BeBe sang? He said he had written it for his brothers funeral.
@DL8110 - when you find out, I would love to get that song too, the Wians did an exceptional amount to share the love at Whitney's funeral celebration
The world was brought to church today. My hope is that the millions who watched Whitney's funeral today listened to the words. "Forget about tomorrow, give your life today."
This video after watching the memorial for Whitney Houston, just might be the one to get my butt back into the house of God where it needs to be. My life hasn't been the same without it. I've let the outside world and worldly things get in my way.
Very glad they sang this at Whitneys Memorial.......*Very important message here and ya know it only takes seconds to lose someone you love and that you never know what the future of tomorrow holds.....so its best to keep your eye on his coming and for your heart to be right with GOD, Amen Amen Amen!!!!!
I heard this song for the first time on Whitney Houston's Farewell.. what an incredible Song!<3 I love The Winans.. I had one of Cece's Cd's that helped me get thru my own Mama's illness and passing.. I drew strength from her voice and the blessings that come with that God given talent!<3

People, tomorrow is Not promised!!! Please do not turn a deaf ear to the Lord's invitation, nor walk away or procrastinate the opportunity of His open arms!
A man sung this song at a friend funeral! It really opened my eyes! Jesus is coming back and when he does I want to be one of the ones that leave with him! Don’t want to be stuck on earth for eternity! People need to wake up really God is talking them young now my friend was only 17 years old! The devil comes like a thief in the night to steal, kill and destroy! People get your house in order!
the first time I heard this song it was played for me by a friend who went to the winan's church. He played it to give me encouragement and it did and still does. this was in 1985 and my friend has since passedon but this song will always remind me of him and how he and this song helped me thru.
TAKe no thought for tomorrow but make ABBA the head of your life today and he shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory. YOUR GIFT WILL MAKE ROOM FOR YOU. GO YE THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS...................!!!!
This song, if I'm not mistaken, was a crossover hit for a gospel single, as it crossed over (as mentioned previously) onto R&B/urban radio. I wonder if The Winans woulda did an official video for the song? lol.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me what other artists sang this song? Back in the mid-80s there was a version that played on the R&B stations especially during the quiet storm... It was a stronger sounding voice then the softer versions the Winans put out. It was a male singer... I can not find it ANYWHERE... If anyone has ANY info I would appreciate it!!
@BananaFamilyNetwork I believe this is the only version. But this is a live version. This is not the verson that was played on the radio. But the same Artist- The Winans
@donnasw1234 The original version is on the 1984 "Tomorrow" album. You can find it on Ebay or Amazon. You can purchase the 3-CD set with all the early 80's Winans songs, called "Winans Mega 3 Collection." The entire "Tomorrow" album is the third CD in the set, go to track #2 and there you go! Enjoy!!!
@BananaFamilyNetwork I remember one other guy singing this song also. This is actually my first time hearing a group singing it. I've been searching forever but I can't find it either
I was aquainted with the winans, through a friend, E.Rock Brookhouser is what i called him, Eric attended Mumford High with some of the brothers. what a wonderful talent. Eric's favorite song was, The Question Is.

Strong song, strong performance of "Tomrrow," performed by this group of young Winans, demonstrating what soul music is. They are feeling it (their message) not just singing some words. They are feeling this message down to their souls and are able to touch listeners and make us feel their message as well!. A great performance by some men full of Soul!
I grew up listening to tommorrow ..... If this is not a heart checker then you are dead already. We hope there's a tommorrow for us . I going to attempt to sing this song now, kinda high but wish me luck!!!!
Yes, this song still brings tears to my eyes! What a message. I love the Winan Brothers they were truly amazing singers, very talented. Marvin Winans, love his voice and what a great song writer. They were so geniune and humble..I miss hearing them sing. This is great. Thanks for posting it!
To GOD be the glory. His voice is for the glory of God. If it seems to be merely entertainment, just be reminded that God gives us all certain talents, some of use them, others abuse them however, I believe that he isn't singing and tearing this song up to be known as a great singer, but to give GOD the full Glory and Honor, because HE is worthy to be praised.
I heard this song before Whitney's funeral. Then it was sung at her funeral. When a song speaks to you, that is truly God working in your life.

Today is the day of salvation.
