They make it seem like this was shot in New York, but it was in LA about 3 1/2-4 years ago. I saw it in the theatre they shot it in and with this cast, it was aaamaaaaaziiiiing.

There is so many things wrong with that.

First of all they have used much more lights than in the actual defying gravity sequence so that you can actually see whats going on. When they get into the bubble would be impossible to get on from stage level during the show because it is stored up in the flys the entire time. Also behind the 1st tab before the levitator is revealed a blackout curtain is down to conceal the machine. And the clock numbers should also be up in the flys at that time.

np!!!!! If Eden was still doing Wicked, I'd tell u to GO SEE HER IN THE SHOW but she is done. :( She and Megan closed out the LA production on January 11th. I saw her a couple weeks before that (cuz tickets for the last show were IMPOSSIBLE to find) and she is definatley the best Elphie!! (to me at least, others may disagree, and I respect their opinions, so if anyone disagrees plz don't thumbs down me or say anything mean!! :) They r wicked veterans cuz they were standbys for Idina and Kristen.

Oy no. Ugly Betty is set in NY, but is filmed in LA. It's much more convenient to let the LA cast and the Pantages to double for the Gershwin and NY cast than have the entire Ugly Betty crew fly to NY for this, when LA had a Wicked a few miles away. But thank god they did, as Eden and Megan are the best Elphaba and Glinda.
