You can solve the bleeding problem by replacing the Xfader with the innofader or the pro x fader.

this is gonna sound dumb but.....what does it mean when the fader "bleeds"???

no not dumb... It means that sound is leaking and making a popping/crackling noise even when the fader should be in a position where no sound is made.

It happened the same to me... But is as simple as opening the mixer and cleaning the faders, and fixed! The Urei is a GREAT mixer for scratching, is just it need some manteniance, as every mixer, specially scratch mixers.
Just clean the faders if the sounds bleeds.

Yea mate... don't get it if you want it for scratching. Its great for mixing but it stops there.. Vestax or Rane for me as far as scratching goes

The fader on the urei started bleeding after just 1 week. I cleaned it and then after a few hours it started again. I sent it back for repair and they told me there was nothing wrong with it.. so i swapped it for the TTM57sl. Thanks for the comment dude
