  • @moboization

    Mwhuahaha damn right son

  • Dig to find a fruity music

  • How i come across these kind of songs, i have no idea

  • Grew up in the 70's. Never heard this band and I live by NYC. I guess I just missed it. Sounds Great!!! Got to look for the lp...............

  • @crazze6163 Also check out the original version by a singer named

    Donny Hathaway. Really cool.

  • @4467j and of course Leroy Hutsons version

  • @crazze6163 Chances are you were much too young. This is early 70s so... you'd have to have been mixing in different social scenes to pick up on it. I mixed with all sorts of people when I first moved to NYC from London in 73. There were underground bands then as there are now.

  • What makes this so distinctly NYC is that hard funk and smooth Latin sound. If you like this check out Mandrill's "Cohelo".

  • @BreezesofConey yeah your right, I was only 13 in 73' and listening to local am radio. So much good music out there from the 70's. Forget about music today just rap, modern r&b, top 40, talk and club here on the airways in NYC now.
