actually, the point of this type of architecture is to reduce costs. these buildings would cost less than 1/10th of a traditional building of its same size to build, and less than 1/3rd of the cost to operate. The will be powered by wind turbines, and would create a solution to energy use. All materials used are much stronger and much much lighter than steel, so its a no-brainer! Get with the times, people!
1:33 looks like a plan to deal with constant sun exposure; rotate sides so they heat and will cool and stay in a safe range... wow! would be useful for desert or extraplanetary climes.
