Good bowling =) It's nice how you bowl and get strikes with very little effort, it shows you can be consistant for a large amount of games. oh by the way i love this bowling ball but i can't find it any where... i used it once and fell in love with the reaction, my friend has it but he uses it, man he's so lucky...
I used this layout with the Columbia Rage(the black pearized one). It worked well for scrubbing out tilt so there wasn't much change in direction when the ball came out of the mid-lane. Basically it gave room to the left if a shot got pinched off.
Sorry to be a stickler, but your balance is a little off. But, your ball looks great going down the lane though. I've got this ball, and I love it. I'm not really strong enough to get a lot of rev's out of it, but I'd love for my ball to look like yours going down the lanes. Nice vid.
In addition to the balance problem, there is a larger problem with how you throw the ball. Although it may look like it is rotation nicely, it isn't, as you have a 90 degree rotation angle as a result of your "suitcase" release, aka- your hand is entirely outside the ball rather than behind it or inside of it.
In regards to PlaceInHistory's "I am not strong enough," you can generate a lot of revs simply from correct timing and finger/hand position, not strength.
I've really been trying to keep my hand behind the ball more and have a really smooth approach, backswing, and followthrough. I'm a pure stroker. I admire the crankers, and I wish I was one, but I've determined that I have to stay a stroker because that's what works best for me. I'm going to keep trying to get more revs on my ball, but for some reason, it's not easy for me.
Having lots of revs can be nice, especially when you're trying to break through heavier oil, but it's not everything. Like epsimone said, it's all about timing. Next time you bowl, try holding the ball with your wrist cocked forward and thumb straight up. Try to keep your wrist forward through your backswing, and on the downswing, start rotating your wrist as your hand passes your leg and follow through with your thumb at 10o clock and fingers at noon. Practice that, and you'll get more revs :)

yeah its lucky..... lanes like really easy..... just throw the ball on the right and strike soo.... not a good pitch

nice ball with a lousy bowler
your throw barely touches the 10th board
\those strikes were lucky cause a ball with that kinda breakpoint doesn't carry well
MrAsyter 2 years ago
So that entire 2:43 was luck? Haha, idiot. When you hear a solid hit and messengers, that's not luck.

What kind of breakpoint is that that doesn't carry? A smooth one?
Hate those...
Stupak289 1 year ago
not really
an early breakpoint is a bad breakpoint
early breakpoint means less angle
less angle means less impact
messengers shows that its a good ball with pin carry
thats all
