I saw the last one to go to the moon on the pad! I always loved this kind of stuff. Can you remember when they landed on the moon the first time? I have 3 years on you I think. I remember like it was yesterday sitting on the floor watching on an old color tv and then going outside and looking up at the moon and knowing someone was there!! Pretty Cool if you ask me!! Thanks! I remember watching apollo 11 take off on a grainy old black and white tv like it was yesterday too and I was only six years old,in fact a model of the saturn v rocket was my birthday gift It had a little button that you pushed and the capsule would pop off it was the most memorable gift ever even though it was just a five and dime store item I wish I still had it today.

Ive always found space exploration fascinating.I was at Langley air force base looking at a space capsule once and they asked the astronaut what he was thinking while he was waiting to blast off and he said all he could think about looking around at all the gauges inside was that the cheapest bidder got the job. LOL
