I have listened to both bands as well and they are nothing alike in any way because they do completely different things with their bands in every aspect. Gerard's voice is similar to a lot of other singers a lot of the time, whereas Claudio's is so distinguished. The only thing similar is maybe the screaming bits which SORT of reminds me of Gerard's raw voice in Desert Song, and come on, how often does he do that...

Claudio shows his singing skills more than ever in this one! Even though I'm a little disappointed about the Year of the Black Rainbow, mostly because I miss their riffs and solos. Seriously, I never thought C&C would make an album without riffs and solos. =( But still, just because I miss som'thing from their older style doesn't mean they don't still kick ass. And they really do. This song is amazing.

@cryoshell666 this is from the album "Year of the Black Rainbow" and basically what happens is that a rift opens up over a planet (i think its Paris: Earth, i haven't read the novel so i can't confirm) and this rift basically divides the population, half think its the divine hand of god, and the other half believe it is the dictator Willheim Ryan causing it, and this leads to them thinking ryan is basically god

and this sparks the rebellion against ryan
