I am as well LDS, It's true we have been nick named mormon because of the book of mormon that read, but we refer to ourselves as Saints or Latter Day Saints. I will continue to love, accept & help all people regardless. I am as well LDS, It's true we have been nick named mormon because of the book of mormon that read, but we refer to ourselves as Saints or Latter Day Saints. I will continue to love, accept & help all people regardless. Many don't choose to be apart of religions & I am glad we have the freedom to choose our religion here in the U.S. If that is what you feel works for you, I think your choice is great. :) My Religion brings joy to my life & I hope u can support my decision as I support yours. :)

They swim in normal bathing suits. And the garments don't have "symbols on them" to protect them from satan. I was under the impression, like the rest of the world, that having sex with young girls was wrong. I have been wearing garments for almost 20 years and this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I shower just like the rest of the world. I use dove soap and suave shampoo and I shower in my birthday suit. This just shows that just because your a doctor doesn't mean your smart. If you want to know about what mormons do, then ask a mormon.
If I wanted to know about gold mining would I ask a gardener? Not likely. Huge waste of time.

The Mormon garment serves as a reminder to the wearer of the promises they have made to God to keep His commandments. Just like the Pope's clothing, it's a reminder and symbol of his office and responsibility. The only difference is that the Pope wears the clothing externally but the Mormon garment is a reminder only for the wearer... thus it is worn under the clothing.
