@keepNitloud No nothing major. Electrical in the car was given a small boost. Did the big 3 and stuff like that. Amp wasn't set high at all. In fact it was quite low. Just the song and that box made it move like a beast.

Wish I had that amp... I personally would recommend two separate amps on the x, or getting a real nice 1ohm stable amp.. you won't be putting 1000RMS to each sub with your Alpine, but with a steady 700 from your amp, they'll probably sound great..

you wont get true rms wattage. because the mrp-m2000 would only do 1300wrms at 4 ohms and you can only wire 2 x's in 1 or 4 ohms so you are forced to do 4 ohms with that amp since it is not 1 ohms stable. get a different amp. 2 pdx-1.1000's. thats what I got.

Actually the box is a bit small....the rebuild is going to be about 2.5 cubes. Not sure if you know about the required dimensions for a Type X 12, but considering the sub, 2 cubes is small for it.

Graphed this in WINISD Pro, I would say around the 2.1-2.0 cubic foot range tuned anywhere from 26hz-30hz would sound good. You could go higher if you wanted shear output over Quality and were willing to sacrifice low frequency output.

Half of these guys still havent broke 140db i have one sub and push 145.5db constantly. Put this vid in yo headphones and hear the pounding. It was in the the box was a custome one that we had made for one of my buddies, in an Integra se they were getting about 450 rms a piece box was tuned to about 44 hz
